I've got this kink or twinge or something in my neck/behind my shoulder that's been hurting a lot ever since the weekend and it's driving me mad. I should really get it fixed but I have no money.
JAKE SMOLLETT IS SIX YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME. SIX YEARS. I feel old.
ETA: And he's related to a couple other somewhat famous names! OK, I'm a tiny bit obsessed with him today.
Corbett is going to be on 90210! I found out via this VERY SPOILERY FOR EVERYTHING blog from Kristin. Now I keep seeing him in the ads and getting all happy. I probably won't like him on 90210, though.
Speaking of spoilery articles, STOP TAUNTING US ABOUT THE VERONICA MARS MOVIE ALREADY. Just tell me Piz is in it.
I love Kristen Bell's new pixie haircut.
Pretty terrible Tahmoh interview from Dollhouse Forum.
OK, I don't care that everyone thinks I'm a huge dork for liking High School Musical and Zac Efron because this is hilarious. Yes, I am five.
I am smarter than 98.95% of the rest of the world.
Dumb Test
I told my sister I needed to start catching up on movie-watching because I've only seen 60 so far this year, so she took me seriously and we watched THREE movies today! The first was The Broken Hearts Club
I wish this movie could be a TV show instead so I could watch it every week. It's kind of a cuter Queer as Folk, seriously (an portrays a similar group of friends). What I loved most about it was that it didn't stereotype very much, and it was more about a certain environment in a group of gay guys, and the acceptance and safety that offers them. They portrayed it as kind of an alterna-family, providing a nurturing environment for people who either fear their families won't accept them or whose families don't accept them. It was one of the better gay movies I've seen, sweet and fun to watch, and with a crazy cast that'll have you going 'hey, it's THAT guy!' every few seconds. CHRISTIAN KANE! There were a couple of storylines that weren't as interesting (though one was maybe the most true-to-life storyline there.)

Then we went to Jamie's and saw Jumper
WHAT. A LOAD. OF CRAP. The ONLY thing that's cool about this movie is Jamie Bell and they treat him like total shit. There's some cool teleporting effects (only ever put to good use by Jamie Bell), gaping plot holes (yeah, I'll go to Rome with you even though I haven't seen you since I was 14 and you're kind of a jackass! Awesome!) and terrible acting/dialogue. Just...CRAP. Oh, with Teddy Dunn, too!

Finally, with my mother, we watched The Family Stone
Eh, I was mostly bored by this movie. My sister and mother love it, because it's a family rom com with a dramatic twist, and I could predict everything from start to finish. I found it difficult to like the main characters (especially Sarah Jessica Parker, whose speech about gay people is...well, I see what they were doing, but it certainly didn't endear me to her) and I was bored a lot. I liked the deaf, gay brother, I'm sure that's a huge shock to everyone.

I'm going through a Chris phase.
Does anyone have the Wonderfalls theme song? I promise I'll pay all of you back with a lovely shiny music post one of these days.
Did the cow creamer tell you that?
