FRANCIS CAPRA!!!!! Why would Peter put himself in jail? HRG! You know, I have only ever heard the 'slouches towards Bethlehem' thing once before and it was the name of pretty much my least favourite episode of TV EVER. The one I wish to scrub from my brain. Mohinder's power is just strength?

These episodes are really dark. Claire can't heal anymore, but she can't die? Is that right? She healed her head up ok. Oh, she just doesn't feel it. And she healed, nevermind. So he broke her nerve endings?

THIS IS NOT A HAPPY FUTURE. I DISAPPROVE. So they're now going for Nikkietc. as a bad guy? And they've brought Sark back.

Hiro screwed with time and it worked out ok for him. I mean, that's pretty much his M.O. I thought the butterfly effect was to do with wings flapping, not crushing butterflies under your heels.

Okay, this version of Mohinder is just LOLworthy. I can't stop laughing. Hot, though. He's Spider-man! Different. Better. Hornier.

PETRELLI-BRO DRAMA. I love that in order to talk to Nathan, Peter grabs a chair and drags it a couple of feet. He could've talked to Nathan from the chair and it would be...more or less normal conversation distance. Peter, y'know, you could've just tried pulling the fire alarm for a diversion and then TALKING to the guy instead of KILLING him, then the forgiveness issue would be less. I do like this scene, if only because Nathan hasn't mentioned God or angels once.

He took the job knowing it could fuck up the future? The special effects on the guy turning to ice weren't great, but I always love frozen people shattering apart. Man, this show is GORY.

I don't like this idea that 'some people are just evil'. I don't think that's necessarily true. Can't some of those guys have been regular guys who got pushed over the edge? He brought in her birth mother?! AWKWARD!

GO THE HELL BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!! I feel bad for...what I'm going to call Weevil!Peter rather than Present!Peter, because it's funnier. He doesn't know if Nathan's ok, and he's running with a bad crowd.

Of course she's his mother. Mama Petrelli is so mean to her sons. The fact that the one she is proudest of is a serial killer is highly worrying.

1. YES!!! "Oh I had to shoot you because clearly coming back to 5 minutes before the press conference and talking to you would not have worked, so you obviously have to forgive me now kthx." I HATE THAT PEOPLE NEVER TALK ABOUT ANYTHING ON THIS SHOW! Same with Peter and Hiro at the end of S2. After being on the same side for all of S2, they see each other and within seconds decide that the other one is clearly wrong they must fight to the death. instead of ASKING WHAT'S GOING ON! *headdesk*
2. Yes, the lack of god made the conversation much better than 90% of Nathan's other conversations.

On the Hiro & Ando front...being mean to Ando doesn't exactly make Hiro a villain. It makes him...well, kind of an ordinary human being, who's acting like he's being a bit petty because he heard a rumour about something Ando didn't do. You know? It's not, like, EARTH SHATTERING.

Many good points here. There were many things in the episodes that made me WTF, and not in a good way. We are not amused. Ok, we were amused with the Sylar music and Matt's turtle, but that was really mostly it.

I dunno where the butterfly-flaps-its-wings thing comes from, but the genesis of the 'butterfly effect' is a story Ray Bradbury wrote in which some dudes travel back to, like, the Jurassic Period. They travel a set path so that they don't affect anything, but one of them goes off the path and accidentally steps on a butterfly. When he gets back to the future, he realizes that a lot of things have subtly & unexpectedly changed.
