People have been doing this again, so of course I felt obliged to join in. Especially with my bazillion shiny new icons!

1. Chris: Ready for his Wings bydekolette
Chris is hot and sexy, but sometimes he gets this precious, lost, adorable look on his face and he's positively angelic. In a non-Castiel way. This is particularly evident in the first season of Private Practice, which this icon is from, because he is the only one with any sense and a semblence of a fully functional conscience. Also, look how pretty the icon is!
2. Movies: Wild Thing by me
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE. THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TRAILER I HAVE SEEN IN A REALLY LONG TIME. I watch it over and over again, because it's glorious and aching and exciting and everything a great children's movie should be. 'Where the Wild Things Are' is one of my favourite children's books; it's short on words, but those words and images are so amazingly evocative and rich. Seeing it made into a real world is going to be an experience worth having, believe me. Don't we all feel a bit wild sometimes?

As this is the second icon selected that was made bydekolette, I feel it necessary to point out that her icons, at stolenlights, are lovely, simple icons that are wonderfully useful.
On to the particular icon: I love every character on Pushing Daisies, but I feel that, in particular, the aunts don't get enough love. They're hilarious and kooky, and I feel this icon sums them up wonderfully. Also, I sometimes like to use this icon when I feel people are making asses of themselves. Bit of a 'go fuck yourself' kind of a deal, but gentler.
4. HP: Scorpius is a Hufflepuff byiconseeyou
ack_attack made a batch of these 'epilogue addendums' that are all funny, but this particularly caught my imagination. Now, in my head, Scorpius and Albus Severus are in Hufflepuff together. I think that would be wonderful, and the thought of a character named Scorpius - Draco's son, no less - in Hufflepuff always makes me a bit giddy.
5. Movies: Lola ARGH bymouthfullofdust @ thirdhex
Favourite icon-maker ahoy! I really want to watch 'Lola Rennt' again. Uh, this is the perfect angry icon. Perfect. It's cathartic screaming in visual form.
6. HP: Mind & Heart & Soul bymisscla
I'd been wanting a trio icon for a long time, but I'd never been able to find one. This one's just made from those non-official shooting pictures for DH, but for me this perfectly summarises the trio in the simplest way. It's very cool, very sweet, and Ron and Hermione look particularly dapper in their wedding clothes.

Okay, the 'set phasers to stunning' ones are funny, but Leonard Nimoy actually SAID this. Granted, it was in a list of things one would never hear on the Enterprise...but I think with these new GQ motherfuckers, and especially in the case of one Zachary Quinto, we might be hearing it sooner than you think. It's just hilarious to me. Plus, after the Eddie Izzard video, now I keep thinking of people getting hit by the phasers and then running off to redecorate. "Oh, sweetie, red doesn't suit your complexion, particularly if you don't want to get killed on this planet. Try fuschia!"

This is particularly close to my heart because it originally had different text, and there was another icon that was a still with this text, and I was so torn because I like the simplicity and usefulness of the text but the whole thing is funnier in motion. Then the wonderful, generousspeakfree MADE THIS ICON JUST FOR ME. AND IT IS WONDERFUL. I think you might be able to tell when it comes in handy. OH GOD JENSEN'S FACE.
4. Dom: Not Gay but a Big Fan by me
This? Comes in handy ALL THE TIME. I mean, that can't be a shock to you guys. You know me. This is pretty much a statement of my life, AND it has Dom being all adorable and funny about someone (Billy, I presume) and it's wonderful. Usually I don't like my own icons that much after a while, and this may not be the prettiest icon, but it serves its function. The reference is from 'Queer as Folk', from a fellow fag hag, Daphne.

17 Again is playing in the theater directly behind the little podium thingy I stand at at work, and whenever I hear the Where The Wild Things Are trailer starting, I poke my head in and watch. It is so so gorgeous and wonderful.
