Katie's brain go boom.
I can't concentrate enough to do any uni work :( I'm trying, really I am, but it's not good. Argh. I went to uni today, skipped my Gender lecture because I wasn't done vaccuuming when that bus came, but went to my Film tute where I revealed myself to be a Class A Geeky Fangirl, and met Manchester. Manchester's name is unknown to me at present, but he is an exchange student from Manchester and he's gorgeous. And probably gay *sigh*. Anyway, somehow in my Play Into Film class we got onto the subject of Lord of the Rings and Dom and I told them about the convention and they couldn't believe I'd spent $400 on it etc. Answered a lot of questions. It was fun, some people like me now and some people will avoid me like the plague, I'm sure, but fortunately it appears as though Manchester isn't one of them (he even knew Dom from Hetty, and knew Dom was also from Manchester!!!)
Then I bumped into Misha and Nina, and Tom showed up, and so I saw them for a bit before heading home to do nothing. Woohoo.
Just say NO to idiots.

Stepping off one of the first buses (from the premiere) were hobbits Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan, who galloped into the party on stick ponies. "I picked them up for 15 bucks at Toys R Us on my way to pick up Dominic," Wood said.
"We just discovered they make noise — listen!" added Monaghan, making his go "neigh."
So cute!

1. What's your favourite icon at the moment?
I know it's a boring choice, but it's my favourite picture of Dom and I like the simplicity of it. It also pretty much represents me right now :)
2. Which of your icons have you had the longest, what is it, and what do you think it is that appeals to you and makes you keep it?
Of course since I did my Dom-centric icon revamp most of the oldies are gone, but I've had this one for quite a significant amount of time. It's bybleedskint, and it's probably my favourite Domlijah moment--sweet and fun.
3. What do you look for when you're choosing? The funny? The pretty? The fandom/interest appropriate? The personal?
When I'm choosing from an icon post by somebody else I go for the prettiest ones that I would actually use. So, personal usefulness I guess. The same goes for when I'm choosing for each post--whichever best suits my mood or the post itself. For example if I post a Domlijah fic and it's the most interesting thing in my entry I'll use the Domlijah icon above.
5. Is posting with the same icon as someone else the equivalent of going to a wedding and wearing the same dress as the bride's sister? Or worse, her brother?
LMAO no, I don't mind having the same icon as somebody else, but NOBODY is allowed to touch my Wood icon.
Some people's icons I wouldn't mind coveting though.
6. I think this may be where I post the aforementioned coveted icons.

6. My "Homophobia Kills; Kill Homophobia" sticker.
7. The pen I got from NHK.
8. A box of Tiny Teddies.
9. My fake banana and capsicum.
10. My green inflatable crown.
11. My furoshiki.
12. A blank CD.
