Okay, so:
Make it an interest: Give Enver Gjokaj an Emmy!!!! HE NEEDS ONE. SERIOUSLY. Somebody should make icons.
ETA: Or we could just rename the Emmys.
VICTOPHER = BEST THING EVER. Enver Gjokaj is a freak of acting. Nobody is as good as he is, I swear. He's ASTONISHING. He's AMAZING. He did the most absolutely spot-on impersonation of Fran as Topher that if you close your eyes you actually don't know who's saying what. That bit where they did the same movements at the same time? Incredible.
Surprise!Maurissa surprised me, I didn't know she was going to be on the show.
Summer Glau was reeeally good as Bennett. Totally creepy and fucked up, and yet still adorable when doing the awkward flirting with Topher.
I think Alexis and Eliza work well together, I liked seeing them together again. I thought Eliza did pretty well in these episodes, but she wasn't the most compelling thing about them. Tahmoh and Miracle still have crazy chemistry, and I love to see them work together.
Adelle being a serious ball breaker FTW, that was awesome.
I really hated Stacy Scowley's character from the beginning, and I called her NOT being a doll but being evil anyway. Echo-Bree's line "Your bad guys are badder than mine!" sort of summed up the show, didn't it? As always, the machinations of the Dollhouse employees and our LA guys' increased leaning toward a lighter shade of moral grey than the others' continues to be the most intersting thing about this show. That and ENVER GJOKAJ, ACTING GOD.
Seems everybody loved the episodes.
Road to Bali
These movies are so wonderfully silly. I love how they constantly break the fourth wall and break character - in essence, Bing, Bob and Dorothy are playing Bing, Bob and Dorothy playing George, Harold, and The Girl Of The Movie in each of them. This one wasn't as good as Road to Morocco, I thought, and the 'plot' seemed to go completely off the rails about halfway through. The depictions of different parts of the world are so hilariously wrong. I didn't like this one as much, though. I get the feeling it would have been a lot more topical and therefore more interesting when it came out, but didn't age so well. Best part: Bing and Bob marry each other.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
I watched this as something to not get too invested in, because what I really wanted to do was re-watch some Lethal Weapon, but I felt I had to see something I hadn't seen before and decrease the number of films I still need to see before the end of the year. I wish I hadn't. This movie is awful. Maria Bello, who's an okay actress, was hopelessly miscast to replace Rachel Weisz. The 'jokes' are just bad ("the yak yakked"? Really? REALLY?) and the action wasn't even that convincing. Imhotep was such an interesting and sympathetic bad guy, but Jet Li was just boring in this. I love Brendan Fraser, but he practically sleepwalked through this movie, and the family not getting along seemed to be happening for absolutely no reason. It was very obvious that Brandan Fraser and John Hannah were the only people in the film who'd worked together before - at least between them there was a connection, and the film appeared almost salvagable when they were bouncing off one another. It sucked, though.

Zombieland
AWESOME. The credits were rolling, and they said Popular from Wicked had played during the movie, and I turned to
tuatha_de and said "Well, I guess I'll have to watch it again, because I don't remember that being in the movie. Gee, that'll be tough." This movie was so enjoyable, just pure movie fun. The zombies were convincing and creepy, the zombie kills were awesome, Woody Harrelson was bad-ass, and the movie completely cracked me up (particularly THAT cameo, which had me crying with laughter.) I loved how it was shot, with the rules popping up and the slow-mo stuff set to killer rock music. I saw a bit of Supernatural in it (the good bits), which made me happy. Just, seriously, go see it. It's awesome.

♥_♥ Chris Colfer!
Oh, and trailer for the American 'Death at a Funeral'. I love a lot of people in that movie, but it looks about an eighth as funny as the original. Also, the original had Americans in it! Be satisfied and leave it the fuck alone. Peter Dinklage is even playing the same role. Having said that, James Marsden on the roof? I'm in. He can be naked on my roof anytime.

they remade Death at a Funeral??? I don't get it! I mean, I don't like remakes in general but I understand when American remake French movies for instance as it's a different language, jokes don't translate... but it's a movie in English! and it was released a couple of years ago!
so James Marsden is playing Alan Tudyk's part then?

I ranted about the Death of a Funeral remake on Tumblr. I love lots of those actors but it's a big BIG DO NOT WANT for me as I love and own the original one. From what the preview showed, it's like a copy more than a remake. A scene by scene copy changed to Americanize it. It's like an American went through the original script, changed the names and made it less 'British'. And yes it's Peter Dinklage in the remake, that was the biggest ASHDKJAS WHATTTT to me. AUGH. RAAAAAAGE.
