The Alphabet Meme so far: A-G, H-N, O-T.
Alphabet Meme U to Z:
U - UST couple of the moment

Usually I hate will-they-or-won't-they couples. I get bored with them, or I don't buy it, or I'm just frustrated with how the show is going. I think Hardison and Parker are awesome, though. The show doesn't focus on them too much, so it doesn't feel like they're rehashing the same crap every week, and the obstacles to romance are obvious: Parker has so many walls up she's practically a maximum security prison. Actually, Hardison would probably have less trouble with a maximum security prison. I think their scenes together are sweet and not too forced. I love watching Eliot, Parker and Hardison, and poor Parker was gorgeous in the last 'Leverage'. She HUGGED somebody! And smiled! (Actually, I thought the whole psychic episode was totally awesome, one of my favourites this season. Eliot's hair is totally girly-pretty right now.)
V - Victor

I can't call Victor a favourite character, because he isn't really a character. I like Anthony enough, but he's not the most interesting person Victor has been, and he really only became fascinating in Epitaph Two. However, Victor is about the most amazing doll ever. When he became Roger for Adelle, that was the first time I actually understood why people would want to hire a doll. He's amazing. Also, such a hottie.
W - Whedons

I think I've written about the Whedons a fair bit before, but I suppose it won't hurt to talk about them again. Have you ever seen so much ridiculous TV talent in one family?! They can write TV shows, songs, and movies, some can direct, some can sing, and some can do everything (I'm looking at you, Maurissa.) Plus, if you extend their family further to all the actors and writers they seem to absorb into this amazing entertainment factory they call a family, you've got pretty much the most awesome group of people ever. I would watch anything they made together, anything. Obviously, I would also watch anything Joss does alone, because I've loved him for years. I'm not totally sold on the others, because they keep writing for things I'm not interested in instead of creating their own stuff, which I would totally watch. Also, Jed and Maurissa are an adorable couple.
X - X-Mas in the summer

I don't like snow. I don't like the cold. I don't think that snow at Christmastime makes anything more magical, I just think it makes everything more difficult. Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and my favourite season is summer, and I much prefer them to coincide. For one thing, when it's hot it makes alcohol work a lot better. We get to go outside, which works well for my enormous family. It's green and sunny (well, it's rained here for a few Christmases, but it CAN be sunny) and not all horrible and freezing. We don't really do anything different because it's hot - sometimes we play games outside or something - but I just like it better when I'm not cold all the damn time. I know a lot of people like to go out to the beach on Christmas day or take advantage of the weather in other ways.
Y - Yelchin, Anton

Anton Yelchin is a freaky little wunderkind. He was only 19 when he made 'Star Trek'! He speaks a few languages fluently, and he's adorable and quite a good actor. He's magnetic in 'Charlie Bartlett'. Also,
baldie_troll thinks he's hot, which is why I'm writing about him now. I think he has the ability to do Big Things in the future.
Z - Zombies

Look, personally I'm not that into zombies. I have a few flisters who are OBSESSED with them, but I just see them as a plot device. I think they're a pretty awesome plot device, though. I am more interested in they way people use them than what they represent (blah blah consumerism, fear of death, etc.) I like seeing how people react. Also, zombies provide us with lots of opportunity for gore. I think 'Zombieland' is AWESOME, but I won't watch something just because there's zombies in it.
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And so on and so on and so on...
zombres O1. Favourite thing about Dollhouse?
Can I say Enver Gjokaj? I love how much the show grew. I love the way it didn't conform to expectations about how a show should be. I LOVE the characters, and that the whole show dealt in shades of grey. I liked seeing these people doing the wrong thing but believing they were doing right, even the so-called heroes. I love how it came together at the end. I LOVE the amazing writing on some of the episodes.
O2. Least favourite thing Dom has ever done?
The two photoshoots with the bugs, particularly the one with the bugs ALL OVER HIS FACE, and 'FlashForward'.
O3. Who do you think is one of the most underappreciated actors in the business right now?
Well, I think we all know who I'm going to say for this, right?

Yeah, him.
Although I think, judging by articles and Whedonesque, that people have started to notice how incredibly amazingly awesome he is. So I'm going to put in votes for Nathan Fillion and Natalie Morales, as well. I think they're both kind of wasted on their current shows (Nathan less than Natalie, obviously, but I don't think 'Castle' stretches Nathan enough.) Someone else I've recently been reminded of is Tricia Helfer. She could have played an awesome doll on Dollhouse, though I suppose that'd be a bit too close to Six, because she was SO versatile on BSG. All the Sixes were so different, but she managed to make all of them believable and connected. I think people underestimate her and typecast her because of her looks, which isn't fair.
O4. If you could change one major political policy in Australia, what would you change?
I would make gay marriage legal everywhere, not just in Canberra. I guess that's a fairly obvious one, but it's such a huge hurdle to equal rights. Also, I wish I could've made driving without an up-to-date licence legal for the first week of January this year, so I wouldn't have a $400 fine to pay. It was off by less than two months! I never got a letter! It's not fair :(
O5. Favourite musician, your favourite album of theirs, and your favourite track on that album?
Oh, gosh. How about I do my top three?
The Beatles - Abbey Road - Oh! Darling
Ella Fitzgerald - Ella Fitzgerald: Gold - Embraceable You
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade - Teenagers
None of these are actually my favourite songs by these bands, though. Those'd be 'I've Just Seen a Face', 'Got to Get You Into My Life' (yes, my favourite Ella song is a Beatles song), and 'Kill All Your Friends'.
Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Firefly. Veronica Mars. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Pushing Daisies. The Middleman.
Name a (current) show you can't miss:
Lost. Glee. Chuck. White Collar. Leverage. Supernatural.
Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Well, I never, ever would have even considered 'Flash Forward' if not for Dom, so him, obviously. I never would have watched 'Private Practice' if not for Chris Lowell, either. Granted, I've stopped watching both, but they made me start.
Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
Mischa Barton.
Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
I have a feeling I could talk fluently in quotes from Buffy.
Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
I don't think I have any! I'm pretty sure there's at least one person on my flist who likes every show that I like. I'm going to say I wish a lot more people knew the joy that is 'The Middleman', though.
Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
The first one that came into my head when I read this question was 'The Big Bang Theory', so that. 'Captain Planet' is my ringtone, I sing that often. 'Firefly', obviously. 'Red Dwarf', I LOVE that one. 'Veronica Mars'. I've been known to hum the worldess ones.
Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
THE MIDDLEMAN! Everything I love, I would recommend. Uh, except maybe 'Supernatural' and 'Lost', if only because you have to start at the beginning (although maybe it's safest to never get into 'Supernatural' in the first place, on the whole.) EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH 'FIREFLY'. I'm not kidding, everyone ever, regardless of personal taste. I know almost nobody who didn't enjoy that show if they saw it, it's brilliant. I am always disappointed in people when they say they haven't seen or didn't like 'Buffy'.
Name a TV series you own:
Firefly (although I think I leant it out and I haven't seen it in ages, I'm thinking of buying a new set), Buffy, Veronica Mars, Middleman. I think that's it for whole series, but I own seasons of Supernatural, Dollhouse, Angel, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Party of Five, Sliders, and Starsky & Hutch. I'm waiting for a nice box set or something of Pushing Daisies.
What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
Ariel, which is my favourite episode of 'Firefly'. (For runners-up, The Zeppo is my favourite episode of 'Buffy' and Debasement Tapes is my favourite episode of 'Veronica Mars'.)
A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
I'm still slowly working my way through 'Farscape', and I haven't gotten around to watching 'Caprica' yet, although it's not supposed to be that great.
Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
YES. Heroes, FlashForward, Private Practice. I hate the later seasons of Sliders, I stopped watching that. Entourage. The OC, because I hated Marissa so much.
Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
Gossip Girl, Dawson's Creek. All of those teenage girl shows that never appeal to me.
Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
I don't think I've ever cried at a TV show. 'Buffy' made me come close a couple of times.
Oldest TV show you like?
'Starsky & Hutch'! I like 'M*A*S*H' too, that's older than S&H, but I really love S&H.
Newest TV show you like?
Uh...is 'White Collar' newer than 'Glee'?
What do you eat when you watch TV?
I often put the TV on while I'm eating my lunch or my dinner, but I watch most of my shows on the computer. Sometimes, if I'm doing a DVD rewatch on the TV, I'll get some junk food.
How often do you watch TV?
How often am I at home? No, that's not really true. As I said, I watch about one of my shows on the computer a day, and I watch a bit of regular TV, but I do other stuff too. Play with Puck, for example. Clean. Eat. Sleep. So, not a lot of other things. I'm usually on the computer when I'm home.
Do you have a favourite talk show?
I love Ellen and Craig Ferguson. I don't watch them regularly, but sometimes Ellen is on when I have lunch, and I watch Craig interviews with people I like.
What's the last TV show you watched?
Uh, the season 6 premiere of 'Lost' last night.
What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
Sci-fi/fantasy. I mean, if it's good I'll watch it, but I tend to love sci-fi/fantasy stuff the most.
What's your least favourite genre of TV?
Most reality TV.
What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Sliders. It was my first online fandom, anyway. It was probably around the same time as Friends, The X-Files, and Party of Five. I was so in love with Jerry O'Connell and Scott Wolf.
What TV show do you wish you never watched?
'FlashForward'.
What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
What? I suppose 'Starsky & Hutch' was an odd one to get into, but those boys love each other so much.
What TV show scared you the most?
I think there was an episode of 'Goosebumps' or something that terrified me when I was a kid. These days it's the networks that scare me.
What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
'Red Dwarf' and 'Coupling'.
Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?
No question. 'Firefly', hands down.
I'm not doing the rest of the 30 days meme, because I don't feel like expressing a lot of what was left.

AWESOME!!
And Sliders? I used to love that show. But we lost interest when his brother showed up? That was just a little too weird, so I have no idea how it all ended. I see the DVDs from time time and think I should get them, but they havent been cheap enough :)
Also, interview me please? Im bored
