Apparently nobody reads this anymore. Either that or the whole of LiveJournal is on a sabbatical. I will post on regardless.
You can buy prints of Priya's painting from 'Dollhouse'! There's 200 in limited edition. I would but I can't afford it.
Some movies I've seen but not reviewed, finishing with the one I saw tonight:
Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanemo Bay
So much less enjoyable than the first one. Danneel Harris is actually very pretty and kinda cool in this movie, though. Uh, I laughed a couple of times, mostly when Neil Patrick Harris was on screen.

Raising Helen
I didn't hate this movie, and I could've very easily. I loved Joan Cusack in it, and liked that they didn't start from a place where Helen was a terrible, incredibly selfish person - she was just young and living her life. It dragged out waaaaaay too long and had waaaaay too many corny scenes and simple solutions to a very complex problem, though. Hayden Panettiere could actually be related to Kate Hudson, though, they look alike.

A Single Man
Now this movie I loved. Absolutely gorgeous. Tom Ford's fashion designer background gives him an eye for detail; this movie kind of looked like a Tom Ford ad, but in a good way. It was shot beautifully - Ford has a real eye for location, and finding the beauty in people and objects. The use of colour and close-up was fantastic (I love the contrasts when the colour fades), and Colin Firth was astonishing. Colin Firth really deserves his nomination. Also, Nicholas Hoult is indecently pretty, and gay men should direct ALL movies. SO MUCH MALE NUDITY. AND SURPRISE!LEE PACE!!!! Ahem, back to the movie itself. It perfectly captures loneliness and grief and moments of hope in Firth's desolate world. I actually saw the end coming a bit, which was disappointing, but I still completely enjoyed the movie.
Oh, also, it had the kid who used to play kid!Dean in it, which makes the third movie in a couple months starring young!Sam'n'Dean. If the other kid!Dean is in the next one, I'm giving up.
