Today I saw The Men Who Stare At Goats
I thought parts of this movie were hilarious. Like, I couldn't stop laughing for five minutes, they were so funny. I loved how entirely wimpy and idiotic Ewan McGregor's character was, and how the entire thing could be either in everybody's heads or real, but it's all still ridiculous. The only real problem I found was that it doesn't really go anywhere. The funny bits are interspersed with stuff that isn't very interesting. It felt too uneven, and the last third of the movie doesn't quite add up. Still, I thought the funny parts were hilarious.
Also, hearing people being referred to as Jedis all the time in a movie where Ewan McGregor is a lead role is hilarious. There are a couple of very wry laughs at those jokes.
