I watched two seasons and a half into the show, and none of that was even remotely apparent. I'm sorry, but if a show is going to be deliberately confusing, they've lost my vote. I'm glad I never watched the other four season because, by the sounds of things, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. That, to me, just seems like incredibly sloppy writing. :\

I loved it. I mean, most of what he said only came to light in the last two seasons, but the unanswered questions from the first two seasons would then be answered while leading us to the discovery of this story. If it's not for you that's fine, but I don't think the last three seasons could be accused of sloppy writing. Confusing, maybe, but it was interesting and tight.
