I know I haven't been a barrel of laughs lately, but I'm tired and headachey again.

Woke up way too early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. By the time I got to uni I'd hung shitloads of washing out, vaccuumed the house and chased Saffy around like a madwoman when she escaped past me out the front gate. Got to uni, was completely bored and distracted in my gender tute, and decided against going to my French Lit class as I had forgotten to take my reading brick to do the reading.

My Gender tutes are getting more boring by the week. The bloody tutor keeps stopping us and bringing us back on her course (which is incomprehensible unless you are here) every time something interesting gets started. Essentially, all our readings are talking in circles but coming back to the same argument--men suck and cause problems for women. They all just want to sound smart. I'm starting to hate feminist readings. The lectures and reading on romance novels are really interesting though.

Watched the usual shows tonight. It was so cute seeing the Australian Idol thing, esp. reliving the Opera House night--Guy and Shannon were adorable. OMG DICKO GOT A HAIRCUT!!! And ick, they got Mark Holden back--and yay, they got JOHN FOREMAN back! :D

Queer Eye was cute. I love Ted's "I thought I was jaded and bitter" line when Jai started crying (again). Tonight's Straight Guy was such a sweetheart, though, I liked him.

I had to flick during 24, I only got to see about 20 minutes of it uninterrupted. I don't know how, but I've known Gael wasn't actually a bad guy for a very long time. It's the same as last season with Reza. Ramon Salazar is much more interesting than Hector Salazar, and hooray for the triumphant return of Almeida, still probably my favourite character (though I like Michelle this season.) I do like the twist at the end of this one. It would be impossible for me to hate Chappelle more. I know something's up with Principal Wood, but I don't wanna admit it :(
The racial balance on this show is actually interesting, what with a black president, two Hispanic operatives in the CTU and Michelle (the actress is called Reiko, she's part Japanese.)

Queer as Folk kinda lost me there somewhere. I have NO sympathy for Ted, because how can anyone treat Emmett so horribly? The Melanie/Lindsay/Michael thing is really cute, though. And I like the tapdance Brian is having to do at the moment between Justin and the mayoral campaign, it's brilliant. Of course we all figured out that Justin was doing the posters, but it's still interesting--Brian has helped make Liberty Avenue un-Brian-friendly. Wonderful stuff. Plus? He's hot.
Also I don't mind the Ben & Hunter saga, it's intriguing.

I've been checking out guys so much more lately. It's frustrating.

No Dom again tonight in the pics. He's not out and about much, so I can't find anything new :S I can finally access Exigency, though, so it's finally time to post the new Gale Harold pics I've been saving. They're particularly pretty.

The Melanie/Lindsay/Michael thing is really cute, though.

I'm not very fond of this storyline for one reason: what happened to Brian in S1. Hmm. Do you read spoilers? How far up in S3 are you? I don't want to spoil things for you.

Also, I added you to my flist. Hope you don't mind.

No spoilers for me. I'm up to the episode I was talking about in this entry :)

Great! More the merrier.

Hmm. But that could be 310, 311, 312 or 313. Well, anyway, Mel and Lindsay give Michael a privilege that Brian didn't get to have with Gus. And that made me pissed. :-/

From what I understood that was because Michael asked for different privileges to Brian.

Hmm. From what I understand, Brian didn't want to give his parental rights to Mel, but Mel was pissed of because she had no rights, legally, over Gus. Brian signed the papers, so Mel and Lindsay could be happy together.

The way things are arranged now for the new baby, Lindsay is in the same situation Mel was with Gus. Double standards, anyone?

I've been thinking about this for far too long, man (I even wrote a rant about it! XD). Every time I watch late season 3 this particular thing annoys the hell out of me. Brian suffered to sign those papers. It's unfair to him and it's unfair to Lindsay.

when Jai started crying (again)
*sniff*
It kills me when Jai cries and I can't be there to give him a big hug.

Er... wha?
