It was kind of stressful at first, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I have only had a few staff problems, and the kids got used to the idea of me being the boss really quickly. It seems like it's a job I'm pretty good at, and I like it.
2 - What is your favorite uniquely Australian thing? (Besides

Um...my other friends? :)
Tim Tams. We also have really great wildlife.
3 - If you could've been a fly on the wall for the initial table reading of any show/movie, which would you choose?
Lord of the Rings, in PJ's house with all the actors back when they were just about to start out on the whole adventure. Can you imagine how awesome that would be?
4 - (Recycling this question from above, 'cause I'm totally interested in your answer, too.) What should Gaila do in Star Trek XII?
Scotty should get captured and then they need Gaila's engineering expertise to save everybody's butts, including Scotty's. Although really, even if she's just there being awesome, that would be a bonus.
5 - If The Middleman were a character on Glee, what song would he sing?
I think Kurt would sing "Holding Out for a Hero" to him.
Movie reviews:
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
HIS BIG BROTHER IS JEFF FROM COUPLING. This and Jake Gyllenhaal being a hottie were the main reasons I enjoyed this movie. It was bad, but it was a fun, watchable so-bad-it's-fun kind of bad. Some of the dialogue was awful, and the 'plot' was nonsensical. For some reason, Alfred Molina acted like he was actually in a comedy, which was sometimes good, sometimes bad. Jake was gorgeous and charming, though, and [Unknown site tag],

+ half a point for Jake's arms and smile.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop
This wasn't a great movie, and it required a lot of suspension of disbelief. Kevin James does a goof pratfall, and I loved the great moments when you realised what action movies would really be like if real-life people tried to act like that. Unfortunately they let that premise slip towards the end - I suppose this is a necessary evil for the movie to have a happy ending, but it's disappointing. Jayma Mays is always adorable.

Beverly Hills Cop
I was actually expecting this to be better. I don't think that the "culture clash" element came off as well as it should've - it felt more like everyone was just figuring out how to deal, specifically, with Eddie Murphy. He acted like a jackass half the time but there was some decent pathos going on there. Judge Reinhold is a rubbish actor. The girl's a carbon copy Hollywood 80's blonde, so it's pretty much entirely down to Eddie to carry the movie. There's some fun action scenes and he is often funny, but I couldn't really understand why people were always on his side.

I love doing this in reviews lately; it's like "Okay, this movie sucked, but it gets bonus points for this." It also makes me feel like I'm assigning points, Hogwarts style, so that at the end of the year someone's going to win the House Cup.
