(Does choosing another screenwriter to do the adaptations count?) Um, canon is obviously just the books and not the movies, so let's start there. Oh, you know what? The characterisation of Tonks. It was totally unnecessary to make her wimpy and personality-free and in love with the gay guy someone who never really loved her back. She was so awesome in Order of the Phoenix, and I just feel like she was a completely wasted character. Also, I would make it so that Ron wasn't still soaking wet all through The Silver Doe because he would've had pneumonia if it were real life, and I would change the thing where Voldemort thought he was the only person who ever got into the Room of Requirement to dump stuff (really, Tom? REALLY?)
