Behind the scenes of Empire Strikes Back.

So I discovered this Cheeks person and I am now convinced that the gays are making adorable gay robot people, because that boy can't be real with his giant purple eyes.

Evil House of Pancakes in 3D.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: Red, Green and Blue picspam.

Rocky Horror Picture Show: Red and Blue picspam.

The Buffy fashion roulette. Pretty awesome.

Yay, someone who agrees with me about Glee!

On the most recent Supernatural: CAN WE PLEASE WATCH THAT SHOW FROM NOW ON? It actually felt like Supernatural is supposed to feel. I LOVE Jim Beaver and Mark Sheppard acting across from each other, I liked the stuff with Rufus and the sheriff and Bobby's neighbour, and I didn't miss the boys very much at all. I'm sick of season 6 Sam already. MORE BOBBY PLEASE.

AMEN. <3 Glee

I loved that article!

But the greatest lesson of Glee is this: fun is enough...
So yes, we all love our highbrow dramatic masterpieces. But the shows that enter our hearts are the ones with which we have fun. When we consider what made us fall in love with this beautiful art called television, it won't be Oz and Breaking Bad. It'll be Glee and Buffy...
But the point remains: those shows that are cheesy, and mad, and camp enough to get stuck in your head like a Neil Diamond song are gold.

Ayup. Thats how I feel. I see grim and sad stuff all the time so I tend to waltz away from such stuff towards that which entertains me.

I don't know where he's going with Buffy there, since it was kind of campy but also incredibly angst-filled, but still. Yes. I mean, Battlestar Galactica was almost too full-on for me.

Agreed completely!

And yes, I adored the most recent Supernatural. Don't get me wrong, I loved the boys, but yes, MORE BOBBY PLEASE! They totally take him for granted, I'm glad they finally depicted that. Also, Mark Sheppard, I love you so.

Evil House of Pancakes is wholly responsible for me getting actual House of Pancakes Friday night.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

We don't have House of Pancakes here. Although having been to iHop I'm not sure that I'm unhappy about that.

Ooooh. ESB awesome. I know what I'm going to be standing in the middle of B&N and reading. (Because seriously, those things are way to 'spensive to actually *buy*.)

CAN WE PLEASE WATCH THAT SHOW FROM NOW ON?

THIS. SO MUCH THIS. It felt much more like the Season 1 Supernatural I fell in love with. I also second the motion for the Bobby Singer show. His life is awesome! I can understand him so much better now!

Also, re: Crowley's plot. MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA FUCK YES. *does a little dance* I love love love. I love that he's now The Boss, I love that he used to be a petty little tailor (and might even work on fic for that once the BigBang is done), I love his relationship with his son (I love Bobby's manipulation of it), I love that he's frustrated by the stagnation in Hell. I JUST LOVE IT. I LOVE THAT THEY DIDN'T FUCK HIM UP LIKE I WAS SCARED OF. Good SPN writers, good.

Also, serious props to Jensen with the directing, I was very impressed. I think he should direct the Bobby Singer Show full-time.

On a Sam note: I wish he would fucking do something already. You want to play an evil!(or at least morallyquestionable!)Sam? THAN DO IT. You've played the UncertainDean card. We get it. Move oooooon.

And I think you might enjoy some 6.04 behind-the-scenes shenanigans. Mark is a hilarious creeper.

OMG thanks for the video! I actually didn't know Jensen directed, although he has been heading that way for a while. I could totally watch the Jensen-directed Bobby Singer show, with the occasional cameo from Sam and Dean and Castiel. The episode reminded me of The Zeppo, which is one of my favourite Buffy episodes ever.

Yeah, I wish they knew what they were doing with Sam. Getting Jared shirtless doesn't count as plot, Sera Gamble, I don't care how pretty he is.

Cheeks is real.

He was gonna be in that play with Enver & Tom & Sasha, and when it was cancelled, he came to the alternate show Tom Lenk put on. He & Jane Espenson even helped with one skit.
