Green Queen

I like book!Hermione better. I like book!pretty much everything better, but in Hermione's case it's mostly because book!Hermione a) is in love with Ron, not Harry, b) is consistent, and c) is...you know, Hermione, not some weird Emma Watson/Mary-Sue crossover that Steve Kloves wanted to date in high school.

...this isn't an Emma Watson thing, I just have Steve Kloves issues.

I know. :D I actually don't like emma watson, but movie!hermione isn't too bad.

Book Hermione is the best though.

I like Emma just fine. She had a dodgy patch of eyebrow acting in the middle there but she was ok in HBP. She's not consistently awesome like Rupert or constantly improving like Dan, though.

This reminds me i have to buy my tickets for the midnighter.

I like Rupert Best. It sucks that ron just gets badly portrayed. Lets hope he's awesome in the last movies, because they could really turn him into an ass in certain scenes :(

I am so nervous about the fight and then The Silver Doe. SO NERVOUS. Kloves hates Ron but The Silver Doe is my favourite chapter.

However badly his character may have been written though, Rupert has been really good.

Yeah, I have to get my friends organised to go see it too.

I know, right! plus there are so many harry/hermione moments while ron's away, and i just DNW H/hr as a ship, i don't like it because they are best friends and its WRONG. lol. i'm not really that rabid about it.

I'm rabid about it because it is such a disservice to the characters as JKR wrote them, particularly Ron. Turning Hermione into such a simpering Bella-alike doesn't do her any favours either, though. Augh.

I still think the worst scene was the one at the end of HBP where Ron is literally sitting in the shadows while Hermione steals his lines.

Yeah that scene was the worst. Way to make them look like a trio, guys.

Ron is one of my favourites, too. And your right - HP should just be filmed the way its written. Thats what people are there for.

I'm not saying it has to be word for word - my favourite movie is PoA, which is very different from the book - but they're fucking with the core of the book when they fuck with the Trio. That's Harry's family, it's what makes him who he is.
