If Will hadn't been in this at all, it would have been awesome. As it was...so, so, so, so, so creepy and inappropriate and just all-together wrong. I'm starting to think that, much like Steve Kloves hates Ron, Ryan Murphy hates Will. His episodes always cast Will in such a bad light.

UNCLE JESSE FTMFW. SERIOUSLY. I LOVE HOT PATOOTIE SO MUCH I MIGHT DIE. I wish they'd shown all of Damn It, Janet, because it's my favourite song from this episode and I think Cory KILLED IT. He was so perfect as Brad it hurt, and I love how bad an actress Rachel (RACHEL, OK, NOT LEA) is. I also loved the low-budget rehearsal, and I nearly died laughing at Mercedes, Kurt and Quinn's faces when they were doing the "Janet"/"Oh Brad" bits. The Sam body issue parts were...disturbing. I wish we could've seen Mike in the Frank get-up, and while I think Mercedes looked amazing from the waist up and gave it everything she had, it just doesn't make sense to have her as Frank. TIME WARP WAS AWESOME. KURT AS RIFF RAFF MAY BE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS EVER. Also, all four of the girls playing Columbia and Magenta did an awesome job. I LOVED SUE AND BECKY. Like, a lot. I love how Sue ended up being the voice of reason. This story was practically a "how Will Schuester became a monster" horror story. Also Becky's "Give me chocolate or I will cut you" line cracked me up, I love Becky. Artie's just a creep now, apparently (after that whole thing with Brittany just last week? How so inconsistent, show?)

Still. DID YOU SEE KURT AS RIFF RAFF????

So...yeah, cut out all the Will bits and you have an awesome episode.

I NEED A MILLION ICONS NOW PLEASE.

So... Hot Patootie was fun, as was the Time Warp, but for the most part, I felt the episode was like you said—an attack on Shue. And it was REALLY awkward. I mean, if you have to change every third word in a song, like in toucha toucha me, then maybe you just shouldn't do it. And that song in particular was totally against character for Emma. I very much disliked the episode as a whole, but that could be the same as when it hit the RHPS 20th anniversary and suddenly it was being shown on VH1. Just not cool.

Actually I think Touch Me was very much in character for the arc Emma's on now, especially if you look at Janet's arc in the movie. It was just wrong with Will. Also, with all the word changes, they should've left it - they could've done Eddie instead.

I WISH PUCK HAD BEEN IN THE EP. He would've made a good Frank, but he could've played Eddie too.

Perhaps that's what bothered me about Touch Me... it was just... not cool. But they also ungayed the gayest show ever by making Mercedes Frank, which is something else that irked.

I have to agree about Will. I mean this is like the 2nd or 3rd episode this season where he just flat out gave me the creeps. Not sure what is going on with his character but I hope that they do something about it soon.

This is the episode that officially pushed me into the "I am over Glee" crowd. I liked the grotesque outcast concept in the beginning, and loved that they were putting a musical series on TV, but I find myself liking the main characters less and less as the series progresses. Last night's episode with it's technical distortions of how musical theater works, irritating (and inconsistent) characterization, and bowdlerization of songs (they can't say "heavy petting?" Seriously, what the fuck?) was just too much for me.

Oh, and Cory can't sing for shit. Really limited range, and they almost always ask him to go beyond it. He is not leading man material, he just doesn't have the pipes for it.

LOL, I thought Cory did better than ever in RHGS. I thought he was really great, especially on Damn It, Janet.

Agree to disagree.

AGREED SO MUCH! UNCLE JESSE IS A BAMF, SERIOUSLY! I just....guh. Love him. And he and Emma together are so SWEET! WHY are you trying to mess that up Will?! Will just bugs me. He used to be cool, now he's just such an ass.

Becky's "Give me chocolate or I will cut you." line? BEST EVER.

I don't like Artie. He was a jerk when he was dating Tina, then he acts like he's too good for her or something because she came "crawling back" in Duets, and then his whole "Sex is important" with Brittany, only to make comments like that to Santana? The writers need to figure out if they're going to make him a jerk or a nice guy, because they're trying to do both for him and it's not working.

I don't think the writers actually talk to each other. It's the only explanation.

I hate what they've turned Will into.

Kurt as Riff Raff was awesome!

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Yeah, they reeeeeally need to think about what they're doing there, because right now everybody hates creeper! Will.

Chris Colfer gets better every week, I swear.

I was sooooooo disappointed we didn't get to Mike Chang as Frank n Furter

It would've killed me if I hadn't known about Mercedes.

I wish Puck could've done it, actually.
