It's approximately a billionty degrees, I've hurt my ankle and my leg, I have a cold, I'm covered in mosquito bites and I'm sunburnt. Yay, Australia Day.

(Seriously, though, I have a mosquito bite on my arm that's like 6 cm in diameter. This is not normal.)

Chris Dzombak took some AMAZING photos of A Very Potter Sequel.

A masterlist of a bunch of Darren's songs.

Ashley Fink: 'I'm the Luckiest Girl in the World'. (She plays Lauren Zizes on the show, was Chris's Golden Globes date, and looks adorable in her photo.)

Craig Charles confirms Red Dwarf is back for a new series... with all your favourite characters set to return. YAY MORE RED DWARF!!

Stacks of icons from Glee 1.08 'Furt', and [livejournal.com profile] entwashian made awesome multi-fandom icons.

Last night I saw American Psycho

I'm going to add this to the pantheon of nihilistic, violent movies that I can acknowledge as good movies without actually liking them (alongside A Clockwork Orange and Fight Club). Christian Bale does a great job, it's visually very powerful, and it has moments that even I had to really enjoy, but for the most part the whole movie just made me want to shower. There are some less-than-subtle tropes, visually and in the writing, that kind of annoyed me at certain points (well done, you obscured his face again. Wonder what that means?) It has a cast full of very recognisable faces, which I wasn't expecting (hello, unexpected Jared Leto). Psychologically it's quite interesting, and I loved how simultaneously ridiculous and threatening Patrick Bateman's pop music rants were. I knew about the whole unreliable narrator thing, too, so I knew where the movie was going, but I still found myself wishing someone would stab him in the nuts.

I see a link has been provided to you, but A Very Potter Musical is the greatest thing since ever. Just make sure you have a long block of uninterrupted time before you start.

I shall find a space for it in my schedule. How long should I give it? *grin*

If you end up falling in love with it and wanting to watch it all in one go, the musical and the sequel together are 6 hours.

There's a sequel!? Lol. So basically schedule a whole afternoon/evening for it. :D

Yep. The sound and video quality are better on the sequel, but nothing beats the original. You just have to crank it up loud.

Hahaha, I was worried the reaction you might get when I read this question.

Then I scrolled down & saw Katie's response.

It actually went rather well.

:) What's the worst that could happen? I get spammed? I get a sad gif? Or shocked responses? :)

But no, I've been meaning to track down what this hp musical thing was for a while. asking seemed the logical choice. :D
