EVERY TIME I THINK DARREN CRISS CANNOT BE MORE PERFECT, HE PROVES ME WRONG: HE'S A JOSS WHEDON FAN. BE STILL MY FANGIRL HEART.
Bouncy!Darren for a second at 1:24, plus a whole lot of adorable.
I love pretty much all his live concert stuff (you guys remember how crazy I went over the Roxy gig, right?) but this is still special. It showcases both sides of him - Darren's his usual adorable puppies-and-rainbows self in the beginning, joking about how his guitar was too excited to play for everybody and how he's not an article of clothing, and I Still Think is cute and energetic and fun, but then when The Muse starts it's like a spell is cast over everyone and suddenly he's all dark and sexy. There's a bit of that uncertainty creeping in towards the end too. I love listening to my recording of The Living Room but it's so much better with video ♥

CRISS: Yes. I saw Joss Whedon two years ago at a party and I nearly fainted.
AX: Did you talk to him?
CRISS: I was too nervous. I was that guy that kind of stood eerily next to him, thinking I was going to say something, and I just never did, I was too nervous.

I'd seen him geek out over Dr Horrible some time ago and I'd read somewhere he was a Whedon fan, so yeah confirmation.
Now, if he just mentioned Firefly or appeared in the same video as Joss,... Maybe Joss should direct another episode of Glee, yeah?

Yeah, I know he called NPH "Doctor Fucking Horrible Howser" once, so I kind of knew, but this is him being called a Buffy fan and saying he loves Joss, which is bigger - you know, he's into musicals, so he might have just seen Dr. Horrible. (I know, unlikely. I think everyone who's watched Dr. Horrible was a Joss fan first.)

Goddammit, woman, you're gonna convert me to Darren even though I have no interest in ever watching Glee again. That Joss thing is just too adorable (and exactly what I would do, too).

Just watch the Darren scenes. (I actually watch all the Darren scenes like 5 times before I watch the rest of the episode these days. Trufax.) In fact, just love Darren without loving Glee. Glee is not all Darren is. He is also wonderful and amazing and supermegafoxyawesomehot. Have you tried A Very Potter Musical yet?
