I can barely hear him in the videos from this event, which sucks, but this is just Darren being adorable and making up a song.
I WISH I COULD HEAR IT BETTER. It sounds gorgeous.
The Phelps twins were lovely. I had so much fun on the weekend. Natalia Tena is kind of bonkers and amazing, and Stanislav Ianevski is a hottie, and the Phelps twins are funny and very sweet. It was totally awesome.
Also last weekend on March 26th I saw The Adjustment Bureau
An enjoyable movie completely ruined by one of the worst endings I've ever seen. I mean, there wasn't even really an ending. Structurally, it was completely unsound. The tension built and built and then the movie just dropped away. Stupidly.
Regardless, Emily Blunt and Matt Damon had lovely chemistry, and there were some bursts of humour - particularly from John Slattery - that kept the movie light and fun. Apart from a deeply uninspired "sex" scene, I found the movie mostly really enjoyable right up until that stupid, stupid ending. It's easy to watch and my mother and I could both enjoy most of it, probably due to the surprisingly sweet love story. It had fun chase scenes and neat ideas, although the whole religion bit got out of hand at the end, and it was mostly just fun.
Shame about the ending.

[And despite the fact that I finally got him to credit me I am still annoyed the guy uploaded my videos to his own page even though he works for the bar so I don't quite have the ability to complain as they probably have right to use the video I took that night.]

Sucks about the sound quality, but hey, Darren playing and singing right there in front of you....it must've been nice :)

I doubt I would've been as annoyed if he hadn't been so frustrating with what he said in his response to me the entire time. I think the overall kindness of most people in fandom when it comes to crediting and/or asking (sometimes it doesn't happen but it seems like it usually does) has given me a standard which people in the real world just don't have to follow.

Yeah, makes you appreciate fandom's open exchange more, doesn't it?
