I'm counting these as one book or they'd take up the whole top four. I am not a huge reader anymore, but I still take the time to read these at least every year. These books are totally my spirit animal.

Crowley and Aziraphale! One of my favourite pairings of all time. I love this combination of writers - I think they ground each other and bring out the strengths in each other's work - Gaiman's storytelling and darkness vs. Pratchett's humour and intricacy. Lovely.

I was expecting this to be boring like so many other "classics" I've read and just can't get into (see: The Great Gatsby, 1984) but it's one of those books you can feel in every pore of your body when you read it.

Couldn't think of a fourth book, or a fourth anything I love reading as much as Shakespeare. So, imaginary collection of all of Shakespeare's works.
