All season I've been saying that this year's contestants are all in love with each other, but this? BOYKISSING ON SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE! They actually kissed. This is a thing for me because So You Think You Can Dance has to be the most closeted show on the air - it's all about dancers, you know that a huge proportion of them are probably queer in some way, and yet they go on about masculinity and femininity and keep denying everybody the opportunity to express that (and have straight kisses all the time).

Plus they're my favourite boys this season. If Ricky gets top 2 instead of Tadd I'm going to be pissed.

Melanie's my favourite because she's some kind of dance mutant and every time I watch her I get these pains in my chest and I just know it's her fault, that bitch, but I loved Jess. He dances in my style and he's sweet, and clearly all the other dancers, especially the boys, really love him. It's something I noticed all season, but he and Tadd tonight were RIDICULOUS.

That's been my very favorite thing about this season - usually I skip the results show but this season they've all been so clingy and affectionate with each other and so supportive that I find myself watching and re-watching because it's ridiculous how crazy they all are about each other.

And I just have to add how amazing it was how supportive Jess was of Tad staying. He didn't show any disappointment, just happiness for him. It was pretty awesome. He just seems like the sweetest guy and I love him.

It's just one big orgy this season. They're all, like, in love with each other. I've felt sort of a family vibe in other seasons but this season they're just all over each other like white on rice.

I think Jess knew as soon as he and Tadd were in the bottom that he'd be going, though. Like Ryan knew she was finally going a couple of weeks ago, except instead of being a prissy bitch about it, Jess was accepting.

I TOTALLY APPRECIATE! I usually don't watch the results shows (I have to download all my TV and so I have to REALLY want to watch and the results shows are usually meh except for Cat just being adorable all the time) so I completely missed that. Jess and Tadd so did not ping for me, though!! But they are two of my favorites so to see them all lovey (and that gif looks like Jess is saying 'I love you' <3) just makes me so freaking happy. Oh SYTYCD, how so wonderful?

I openly mock people who watch TV on TV, and have discussed my TV downloading with Glee cast members. I download everything - but then, I have incredibly fast download speed and a decent amount of quota (and, tbh, not that many shows I watch anymore).

The results shows this season are SO WORTH WATCHING, seriously. Especially this one - there's also an LXD performance to knock your socks off, the group routine is to die for, and the boys' solos are amaaaaaaaaaazing. Also, this season the results shows have been massive love-ins. The dancers are allllll over each other.

Having watched it a bunch of times, it looks like Jess says both "I love you" and "thank you baby" at different times, which is kind of awesome.

Yeah, the only TV I download/watch is SYTYCD and Glee. Everything else is Whatever.

When I say this season has been a massive love-in, I mean that ALL the dancers have been all over each other - but especially the boys vs. the girls. Like, all season the boys have been very grabby-hands. I didn't notice a particular thing with Jess and Tadd until last week, but before then there was definitely a Jess and Ricky thing, and the boys tend to gravitate to one another, as do the girls. My sister and I are also pretty positive that Sasha and Alexander started hooking up right before he was voted out.

I think the notion that they're not all hooking up with one another, when they're in such close quarters for weeks on end and it's all so intense and they're all so freaking hot, is kind of preposterous.

I have a few shows - I'm currently getting Warehouse 13, Alphas, SYTYCD (which is the only one I know the day of and actively refresh for), Falling Skies, and Leverage. Which may sound like a lot, but it's not that many for a TV whore. It's off season right now, but I think I like more summer shows than ratings shows these days.

That is the PERFECT icon for this conversation :D She was the only one out of the top 20 that I genuinely disliked, dance skill of anyone aside. The only time she didn't annoy me was the fashion zombie routine.
