In honour of it raining all day here today, thereby causing me to whistle this all day:
So I don't know if I've mentioned my hatred of paparazzi on this journal before, but I hate the paparazzi. I try to avoid paparazzi photos as much as I possibly can, because they're evil and invasive and rude. I really hate them.
However.
There was this massive Darren Criss sex riot today over paparazzi shots of him filming "Imogene" in New York, filling out a grey t-shirt and jeans like it's going out of fashion, and his hair is SO FLUFFY, "made of like, marshmallow fluff and rainbows and unicorns and smiles and like-- idk world peace or something." gingerrstar, accurately summarising the feelings of an entire community.) So, I am torn. I did save the pictures, but I feel like if I post them I'm validating the evil stalkerazzi in all their evilness. WHAT TO DO?

I also feel like they're coming from a film set, or leaving a studio, it's less bad than getting pics of someone outside their house/getting coffee/whatever. Like if people are reporting on/shooting the film set in general, rather than stalking someone's personal life.

Secondly: that starkid video always makes me tear up at first because I fucking MISS COLLEGE SO BADLY AND IT REMINDS ME OF MY FRIENDS, GOD. But then it just makes me giggle because they're so adorable and I love them and OH MAN I just want to be friends with them.
Thirdly: I second everything that cookiedough up there said. And you know Darren is just a HAM when it comes to any camera anywhere. If there is a camera, he is smiling at it. So that makes me feel better. (Plus those photos are damn sexy. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO LOOK THAT GOOD IN A FREAKING TSHIRT OMG.)

It doesn't remind me of my university experience terribly much, but it does make me want to be friends with...most of them. Especially that jam session, which was awesome. They seem to use their time much more creatively than us normal folks do.

THIS. I was staring at his hair for a while.
Earlier this year, there were paparazzi pictures from the Glee set with Darren in a purple tshirt carrying his lunch. He was looking a bit annoyed (not much, it's Darren after all) and not as pretty as usual. And it made me happy, because I could despise the pictures and the paparazzi that came with them, but... But now, I'm torned. I can't not like these pictures.
As for posting them. Well, I was going to post one of them, because HAIR. I wish he didn't have to cut it and slick it back for Glee.

My hope is that if Blaine ever does transfer at McKinley, the gel will disappear. I would be sad to see the Warlblers go, but not that goo.

Sometimes I get a new icon and I'm trying to tag it and all I can think of to write his HIS FACE. This one that I'm using right now actually has the keywords "shut up with your stupid face". I can't take it.

I know that a lot of people are annoyed by Darren's habitual face-making but I love that about him-it's not like he's purposefully being an attention/camera whore, it's just who he is. It adds a lot of personality to him and I just love him all the more for it <333

I actually have an enormous folder of pictures in my Darren file called "probably not for sharing" that are from his old Facebook and stuff. When I first got into the fandom I had no idea that people used to break into Facebook accounts or share around pictures after being asked not to, so I just saved everything. Now I can't bring myself to delete them. Same with those infamous songs he wrote in college that were floating around Tumblr not too long ago.
