The first new episode of Big Bang Theory made me upset, but the second one was pretty funny. Amy Farrah Fowler is soooooo my favourite character now. THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA ON THE HARP! Community was frustrating, because Pierce is such a shit and I'm annoyed that they're perfectly happy to have him back.

ETA: You know what I just realised? All of the new shows I've downloaded this season have had female lead characters. In fact, all of them except The New Girl passed the Bechdel test in the first episode - The Ringer (I like it so far, with the exception of the occasional expositional bits of dialogue that sound like they were designed for the "previously on" section), 2 Broke Girls (which I watched for Kat Dennings but it's the other girl that's proven interesting so far), The Secret Circle (awful), and Revenge (haven't watched it yet).

That's pretty cool, right?

Cryyyying. (The Jin outtake is HYSTERICAL.) Still not as good as a Supernatural gag reel, but hilarious nonetheless. Speaking of which. I may not like the show anymore, but the gag reels are still the best in the business (because the stars are still the biggest dorks in the business).

also speaking of kickass lead female characters, prime suspect has the kickass-est one of all the shows i've seen so far, in case you were looking for a gun-toting, hard-as-nails-but-still-wonderfully-human female cop lead.

Um, is that a show that's already been on forever? The title is kind of...generic. I feel like I've already seen that show, or something. I'm not that into cop shows in general, though.

also, i think it's a us remake of a uk series of the same name? tbh, i am not a cop show person at all (unless it's hawaii five-0, then i get on board for alex o'loughlin), but mario bello is just so kickass in this i couldn't help being sucked in.

I loved Revenge. It's my favorite of the new shows so far. I'm curious to see what you think.
