gah! was meaning to go to bed *early* dammit.
I had a really good day today :) My Asian Studies lecture was a bit dull, but not too bad really, and I got to hang out and play all afternoon. I met up w/ Tom, Nina, Phoebe, Anna and Chris, and we played foosball and pool and air hockey and poker and go fish (with tiny tiny cards!) and it was fun. Ooh, and Nina and Anna might be singing in a jazz band, which is very cool. Am inching closer to getting the film with my green hair pic finished. Didn't go clubbing so I could go to sleep early in preparation for the long day ahead of me...*snort* look how well *that* went.
Link of the day is another of my LiveJournal communities, Lord of the Rings Icons, since I've been making some.
My pics of the day are (shock, surprise) LJ icons!! Yep. Also in the cut section is part 3 of "The Promise of Something More," for all those following the Domlijah saga.

The Promise of Something More
PART 3
“Hey, Elijah. Lij! Wait up,” I called as I ran out my door and stumbled down the steps. I could see him ahead of me walking fast, face in his hands. I ran after him, put a hand on his shoulder and turned him around, still facing the ground.
“I’m sorry, okay? I won’t move in tomorrow, I’ll leave you alone…”
“What makes you think I’d want that?” Elijah finally looked up, and his damn sad face nearly broke my heart.
“Well, I… and then you…” He started babbling again, and I let him talk for a minute, trying to work out what I was going to say. I’d certainly been missing him lately. Much as I loved him, though, I wasn’t exactly in love with him. Hell, I’d thought I was straight—but then over a year in New Zealand with Ian and Craig and, well, Orlando really, had made all of them question that. Become more…flexible.
“I’m not in love with you,” I told him carefully.
Crestfallen, “Well, no, I don’t suppose you would be…”
”But I think I could be.”
Smile.
Smile back. Blue eyes, hopeful, searching.
“You wanna see?” Lips on mine, tongue in my mouth, tentative hand on the small of my back. I sighed, he pulled back, I smiled.
“I could handle that.”
”You were gonna call the others?” He was teasing slightly.
“Screw them.” He took my hand again and led me inside, through the house. The bedroom. A semi-lewd smile.
“I can think of someone I’d rather screw.”
And I was wondering, could I just be you tonight?
