Ack, I am just never, ever going to catch up on my Friends list.

Where does time go? This afternoon after my French class I basically took Tom's shift as work as well as going for the meeting. I had a headache from 10 minutes before my French class until I got home, and I had cramps all day. Just a crappy feeling day.

Really, really trying to get to the expo in Brisbane next month. Here's hoping, right? I've been getting a lot of shifts lately and such so, y'know, *maybe*. I should have $450 by my next paycheck all things going according to plan - that by itself may even fund the entire trip. But if I'm going I have to get organised. What does everyone think? Is a trip to Brisbane in 3 weeks a good idea?

Happy International Ron Apprecation Day

and

Happy Birthday Rupert Grint!

Am quite worried about someone *sigh*

America-biased photos of the Olympics on Yahoo!

There's a couple of new Elijah things today plus I decided to share with you all my icons and headers and stuff for contests past and present. Almost all Harry Potter, there's 20 icons, 6 banners/headers and 1 wallpaper. Take what you will. Then there's some of Rupert and the other kiddies at the bottom in case there's not enough pics there already (because I love Ron, dammit!)

"Is a trip to Brisbane in 3 weeks a good idea?",/i> Yes! Yes indeed!

My friend Amanda ([livejournal.com profile] vermissen_baby) said we could always stay with her if we wanted, but I think I'd prefer a hotel, I feel weird staying at people's houses.

I'm trying to decide if I should go by coach, train, or plane. I don't know how i'll go on a plane, I havn't been on one since I was like 8. I dont wantto have a panic attack mid-air.

I literally *just* got an offer (below these comments) to stay with someone. I don't feel weird staying at people's houses and quite frankly, with the amount of money I currently have, I may *have* to stay at her house if I want to go at all.

I'm going Virgin Blue, I think. Good airfares. Maybe we could both fly up together? I have *no* issues with planes, having lived for most of my life overseas....

Yes, but you are in Canberra, and I'm in Sydney! I would like to go by plane, alot quicker than and other method.

Hey...if you do come to Brissy you are more than welcome to stay with me if u need a place to crash, nothing flashy just a ratty (yet comfy) matress in the study but hey its free :)

p.s. god(dess) dammit Elijah is so *cute* it ought to be illegal!!

Are you serious? That would be fantastic!!!!
The expo is at the RNA showgrounds, is that easy to get to? And I'd be there on the 17th, 18th and 19th.

Also, yes, Elijah is cute. But rarely hot, I think.

Yeah I'm serious :)The RNA showgrounds should b pretty easy to get to, i basicaly live in the inner city, near a train station and lotsa buses...as far as i can remember its on a trainline...

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

They say on the site that it's near 2 stations, but of course that could be corporate bullshit to try and get people to come!

I may end up taking you up on that offer, because I am *very* low on money and anything to save costs would be good, but I just need to consult with [livejournal.com profile] natatree - if she finds a good cheap hotel or something...I just don't know. I'm all excited now!

yeah i totally understand...I hate staying at ppl's houses, but I'm pretty cruisy so yeah you guys r more than welcome :), I can give u a tour if all else fails!

I love staying at people's houses, actually, so that's not a problem at all for me. But it is for Nat, so we'll see!
