I finally got to see Lost.
It really is good. Maybe a little overdone in places, but that's far better than being underdone. The characters are interesting, and I don't already hate Kate, which is good because I often hate the lead female straight away. I LOVE Dom in it, he's fantastic :D I'm so biased, I keep thinking it's his show.
Today was LONG, I got distracted by a crossword this morning (life is so different when mum and sis are on holidays) and got to uni a bit late, but I drove, which is unusual for Thursday. Lecture, lunch with my sound guy from the filming, production meeting, tute, lecture, Nuremburg and Russian Ark (I fell asleep. Repeatedly. It may be pretty but it is *boring*.)
Today was my father's birthday, so there was the usual getting up early and family dinner. I have become a chauffeur around here - I'm asked to drop everything all the time to go pick up cabbage or my father. Seriously, I *am* the third parent. Called Tom, he and Nina are going to be my extras for filming, yay!
The big 50th is the day after tomorrow, so the house is in an uproar. I have to *clean*. It's out of control, man.

Five Things You May Not Know About My Time in School are:
1. I had no friends in year 7 and sat up the back in class.
2. Every year other than year 7 I was loud, opinionated and involved.
3. It was always pretty easy for me to get good grades without really trying, except in PE, science and maths. Oh, and Theory of Knowledge, but I had a bit of a breakdown then.
4. I was one of the brothers in Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat in year 6. I fell off my bike a week earlier and scraped my chin. They tried to cover it with makeup. I looked horrible. I had a crush on a kid called Jasper.
5. I always got very excited whenever we would study Shakespeare, and teachers would time how long it would take before I could connect Harry Potter to something in class. (Technically that's a twofer.)
Five Things You May Not Know About the Job (Jobs) I Have (or Had) are:
1. I once had an evening working for caterers when it rained and we were serving people who were outside under tents. I wore a white tshirt. It was bad.
2. I worked for two days as a door-to-door salesperson.
3. I had steady babysitting work from the age of 15 and got paid more than I do now per hour.
4. I once babysat three kids called Charlotte, Callum and Where's Cameron. By the time you dealt with Charlotte and Callum, Cameron was gone. That was the worst job I've ever had.
5. Luke really likes blueberries and putting his hands all over me when they're dirty.
Five Things You May Not Know About My Online Life are:
1. Once upon a time I wrote Blue Heelers fanfiction.
2. I always have at least 3 windows open at any given time.
3. Midnighting at The Bronze is a pet hobby of mine, and that is the only message board I have consistantly posted at for several years.
4. I have looked up online porn for an assignment, and that is the only time I have looked up online porn.
5. I try to avoid going to IMDb too often because I spend hours there clicking from film to film and reading the trivia, external reviews, and movie links.
Five Things You May Not Know About Where I Live are:
1. I have lived in this city a grand total of almost 7 years and in this house for about 5.
2. Canberra has the most awesome and beautiful skyscapes sometimes.
3. I love the fact that the sky actually gets black at night.
4. Most people consider Canberra to be a hole, but I like the quiet.
5. There are roundabouts everywhere, which is perfect for my style of driving, ie. constantly getting lost.
Five Things You May Not Know About My Core Personality are:
1. I believe firmly that the tshirt of civilisation is made of love.
2. I LOVE arguing, and am quite confrontational.
3. Most of my favourite people, however, are not confrontational.
4. I believe in the power of positive thinking.
5. The more panicked and stressed the people around me are the calmer I generally become.
Five Things You May Not Know About My Home Life are:
1. I like to believe my room is organised clutter, when really I just like leaving stuff out instead of putting it away.
2. You can read the words "Harry Potter" 74 times when looking around my room, in 3 different languages.
3. I have 42 photos in frames.
4. I never like to throw anything out (particularly presents), and everything has to be on display.
5. There's a shitload of Asian furniture in my house.
Five Things You May Not Know that I Desperately Want are:
1. To pay off my BOBW tickets.
2. For the people I care about to be happy.
3. Lower petrol prices.
4. More drive and inspiration.
5. The Sliders DVDs!!!
Five Things You May Not Know About What I Do in a Typical Day are:
1. Coax Saffy out of the house.
2. Tap the car so that I don't get an electric shock.
3. Drive a little bit too fast.
4. Say "Hello" and "Thankyou" to the bus driver if I go to uni by bus.
5. Buy chocolate.
Five Things You May Not Know that are Really Important to My Character are:
1. Hypocrisy pisses me off.
2. I cannot hold a grudge, but I remember everything.
3. I have a disturbingly good memory for stuff about entertainment and what people's interests are but I can't remember people's last names or their ages and I never remember to ask where they live or anything like that.
4. I strongly believe that fandom is like healthy crack.
5. I believe in focussing on the things and causes that are important to you, even if it sometimes means sacrificing other good causes, because they are usually important to someone else.
