LMFAO...I should put this behind a cut, but it's too funny.
*wipes tears from pained eyes* Ahem. My eyes are pained because I had experiments in make-up, which I am allergic to, this afternoon in trying out my costume for Tom's party. I finally figured a way to get eyeliner on and off with minimal pain, which is good.
Today started with me getting all my stuff together off LJ for my logbook and making sure I took (almost) all the bias and idiocy out of it. Went to uni for a film meeting that went nowhere since the editor wasn't there, then finished my logbook in the library (finally!) I went to half an hour of the Doco screening of Fog of War (excellent film) and then went to stick some money in Mum's account. Handed in the logbook, picked up my costume and tried it on. It looks *good*. Went to a meeting with Erin and sorted out a couple music problems in the final (squee!) version of the film, headed home, picked Clare up from a school show she went to, and passed out in front of the TV for hours.
Does anyone else like the song "Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams but always hear "I got my first real sex dream" instead of "I got my first real six string"?
You'd think I'd've had enough of links today, but the LiveJournal world has gone link crazy. Eminem's new video.

OMG! Orli got his movies confused and thinks he's still shooting Pirate of the Carribbean!
Eowyn pretends to be asleep coz she doesn't want to go to Aragorn's stupid wedding anyway. She is SO prettier than that Arwen chick.
Eomer makes her go anyway. She pouts.
We discover why Orli has been getting his films confused so often lately. Hollywood does that to a person.
Two Homo floresiensis uncover ruins of a giant ancient race and decide to leave it alone because they're smarter than us Homo sapiens and they realise that ignorance is bliss.
Aragorn puts up with the Mouth of Sauron until he mentions the fact that Aragorn looks like a sissy-girl with his hair tied up now that he's king.
Nobody else mentions Aragorn's new hair for a long time after that.
OMG his Boromir is pastede on yay!

You run into someone who is related to your 2nd cousin. Everyone's related to everyone. You are running late for work yet you still arrive before 9am. You can see your breath in front of you at 7:30pm INSIDE THE HOUSE. You can't walk through a mall without greeting 10 aquaintances. You NEVER go to the coast. You whine about having to travel 30 minutes to see someone. Your friends won't travel 30 minutes to see you because they think its too far. You travel from Tuggers to Belco to have people say "Gosh, you're a long way from home." Glow in the dark bowling becomes an appealing past time. The Govt invites you to implosions as a "Family fun day". The highlight of your Wednesday evening is seeing Garema Place come up on the The Panel on #10 You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Canberra. |
