Happy Easter, everyone. *sigh*
I had a terribly boring and somewhat depressing day. I'm somewhat depressed. I got up, then I watched movies and TV pretty much all day. Felt very lonely. I got started on my film assignment and watched (almostkindasorta) most of Year of Living Dangerously for Asian Studies. I'm thinking I might just use My Mother India instead. It's easier. I also watched Cruel Intentions, Sgt Bilko, and Princess Diaries. Year is pretty dull, but it's got good intentions. Cruel Intentions is always good (*drools* Ryan Phillippe in that movie. "Outstanding.") I love the whole feel of the movie, the decadence and black humour and tragedy and all that. Also, the *music*. I suddenly really want the soundtrack. Very nice. Bilko was fairly innane but had such cute moments I couldn't help but watch it in spite of the fact that the other two movies that were on are probably "better" movies. I can't stand soppy chick dramas like Horse Whisperer. That movie is so incredibly boring. Princess Diaries was...well, very very Disney. I liked the girl a whole lot more before she went princess. I liked the frizz. Hector Elizondo and Julie Andrews were cool in it though, so I decided to ignore that main girl and watch them instead. Tomorrow the Buffy marathon's on (touchwoodcrossfingers.)
I like hats.

Pics of the day. Have I ever mentioned Taye Diggs is a very, very sexy guy? He's in here. So is Ioan Gruffudd, who is, I think, the definition of "guh". By the way, I did steal these form my link of the day. I found a piccie of Asse chocolate (I kid you not) from Engrish.com, which will be a link of the day soon. May I just say I miss that chocolate *so much*?? It was really good. I've been neglecting QaF lately, so there's a little of that rage comic I was telling you about before here as well. Finally I included a little fic I don't think I've posted yet.
You have to see this whole sequence in the comic. It's *so* hot.
I think their hair looks really odd in this, but it's the base pic for the cover. Nothing like what really happened when Brian saved Justin, which I think was better, but not very superhero-esque.
Tomorrow: a new teaser pic of Brian, featuring strongly Brian's arms. Have I ever mentioned that I really love the Internet?

Dull vibrations felt through denim abruptly ended as Orlando answered his phone.
”Orlando.”
”Where are you?”
”Hey, Lijah! Um, I’m at…”
”Come get me.”
”I can’t, sweetie, it’s not a good…”
”I’m in Chambers Street.”
”Look, Elijah, I’m busy.”
”She died.”
”What? Who died, honey?”
”I can’t…”
“I’m ten minutes away.” Click.
Dammit. Why weren’t his feet faster? Wished he could get a taxi. Held his hand out in case, even as he stumbled down the street. Lucky day.
Chill autumn air whistled through open windows. Loud gum chewing. Trying to send psychic message. Faster, go faster. Felt like hours. Glimpse of a crumpled jacket and wide blue eyes. Stopped, payed.
Phone sweaty, knuckles white from holding onto it. He tugged it from my hands. Replaced it with his own hand. Pulled leaves from my hair. Thumb on my cheek, back and forth. I cried.
“Aw, baby. You’ll make it.” Arms and legs wrapped around me. Tangled.
I may not be whole, but at least I’m safe.
