*collapses*
Well the *little* Buffy-watching party I was going to have turned into a rather larger affair than I thought it was going to be (though not huge, so it was all fine.) I personally invited Tom, Lea and Ash. Who actually came: Tom, Nina, Lea, Justin, Ash, Shemane, Alicia (sexy vulcan succubus with the genes!), Ajda and Liam. PLus there was alcohol (some cream liquor, milk and icecream *drools*) and food and it was so much fun!! The cleanup was less so, but Tom helped me out a lot and Nina helped me out some. Tom was *very* good, came over and helped straight away and reminded me of one of the reasons *why* he's my best friend. So we watched Buffy--well, I skipped the taped eps for 24 and Queer as Folk, and Ash and Shemane were in here on the net for a while, and Justin only showed up at the end of the Buffy marathon and for Village of the Damned (the Kirstie Alley/Mark Hammill/Christopher Reeve remake, of course) which happened to be on the TV late at night. Very, very bad movie, yet somehow made enjoyable. Possibly because we made almost every scene somehow pornographic. Buffy eps watched: Conversations with Dead People (one of my very favourites), Sleeper, Never Leave Me and Bring on the Night. It really was a lot of fun. Earlier, I called Colin (who's sick so *hugs* and hope you feel better) and we had this very odd sort of vague conversation. I also talked to Tom online earlier and that was immensely amusing. I had to wear a skirt, coz I was out of pants *pouts* but everyone seemed to like it, so meh. And I did some grocery shopping and saw Joel. I think he has my number and thinks it's someone else. I was tipped off by the "happy birthday" message he sent me today. It's not my birthday.
24
Yep, it's time for the reviews. Spoilers-- Tonight's 24 was a little long for me. They found a bomb decoy, which was actually pretty obvious, coz otherwise the whole plot of the season will go out the window. Marie's all caught! Ooooh. I still like Kate and Tony Almeida. Spawn's stuck in a bunker with a conspiracy theory nutcase...maybe he's connected to the bomb? I sure as hell hope so, coz this separate story line thing is getting annoying. Jack's so sexy. I hate Sheri, but I'm still slightly annoyed that they're making her the bad guy. Travers does a very good tortured-guy. *ponders* Ooh, like that computer geek. That's about it.Spoilers all done
Queer as Folk
Squee!! Very first eppie ever! I got to see Brian meet Justin, and Gus just after he was born. Brian was so hot in this episode it's not funny. The part where he pours the water all over himself, as well as when he's holding Gus and just looks so...paternal. High, but adoring. And the part on the roof. Very emotional Brian, not like what we're used to really. And what was with the Mikey voice-over? I'm glad the show matured, but I noticed a few quick-zoom shots and such that are still used, as well as the good music. The highlight of the show, now and always, is Brian. *HOT HOT HOT*!!!! Finally, Justin is so *naive* this early. And Emmett just never changes *touch wood.*
Buffy
Well, truth be told I was a little distracted. I liked the carvings on Spike's chest, I know it's awful but it looks really good. Andrew's most amusing. Didn't like that Annabel SiT, Molly's accent really is *so* terrible (and her clothes!!!), Kennedy's not *so* bad I suppose. Gile's jacket had shiny buttons. I liked Xander's part in this ep (tool belt!) and the introduction of the Ubervamp and the SiTs. The Ubervamp really does look like the grr arrg monster and Nosferatu, esp. Nos. Buffy being all badly bashed was actually kinda cool, a sort of desperation was apparent, which made her final speech just that much better. Poor dead Jonathan. All evils wear eyeliner!!!
Link of the day is (finally) BuffyGuide.com, good for info on Buffy, has a cool little writer's list I'm quite fond of.
Pics of the day. A Brian special to celebrate the hotness that is Gale Harold (see the third pic for that promise of his arms...I love it I love it I love it), followed by a couple pics I think are cute, of the cast.

Please note that the original was much, much clearer. This and the cowboy pic now reign as my favourite Brian pics.

Must make it to bed....only 2 steps from computer....*conks out*
