Meme from [livejournal.com profile] minyafalas:

I have a kooky idea, which should be a lot of fun and might help recruit people on your Flist into some of the things you're interested in. What I want to do is every day, going alphabetically, take a word from your list of interests and dedicate a post to it.

For example the first of my interests is A Midsummer Night's Dream. I can either do a big picspam of the movie, or make icons, or talk about my favourite movies, post links to various websites/message boards/LJ communities or all of the above. I thought it would be a good way to recruit people :oP LOL! And also to share in the love of some things you like that don't often get a mention. Plus it tells me more about the kind of people you are. Also, if you can point me to interesting sites or members who share this interest please do so.

My first interest is a:ts, which is Angel: The Series. Not so much the middle three seasons but definitely the first and last season. I spent about an hour last night discussing the final season and the resolutions of the characters with Lea and Ash last night. Here are my four favourite characters from Angel:

Lorne

Harmony

Doyle and

Spike.

My favourite episodes are Hero and Smile Time. If you want to discuss Angel with fans, check out The Alt Bronze.

ETA: ohmygods. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I saw Ben and Mike! And everything looks so...wow! Omg! They seem to be taking the same very practical and historically-based tack as with LotR.

LMAO I love Lorne! <3 I'm not a major Angel or Buffy fan, but if I had the money I'd buy the series on DVD :o)

I got all of the Buffy seasons on video from my friend Lea once she got the DVDs, which was awesome.

Angel! *squees* Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ladydewinter, who was kind (and generous) enough to lend me her DVDs, I'm slowly learning about the Jossverse - I have finished watching Buffy last Friday, and am currently watching S1 Angel. As I write this, I've finished watching The Prodigal, so I'm still in heavy mourning for Doyle.

This is a great idea. I think I'll do it one of these days :)

Man, the ep where Doyle died is probably one of the best episodes of television I've watched. I'm still more of a Buffy fan, though.

Icon props!
