Everybody else is doing it, so I have to write about my visit to the LotR exhibition!
Okay, so I went to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
beanzy's Friday night, as you all know. Next morning we got up at 7 am (dies, and is dead) to go to the exhibition and were still 15 minutes late to meet up with rosemending and greedy_dancer. We proceeded to enter the exhibition. greedy_dancer and I kept losing beanzy and rosemending, I think they were sneaking off to perv on poor old dead!Boromir and ponder methods of smuggling him out. Meanwhile, greedy_dancer and I inspected the orc and elf/man costumes to discover that the baddied all have conveniently placed hard, spiky or otherwise unpleasant-looking shields over their genitalia, while men and elves have convenient openings right there (for quick inter-battle sex?) Also discussed: Legolas's skinny girl legs, and Viggo and the bearded women. When greedy_dancer and I heard about bearded women in one of the videos we looked at each other and had a very "You remember that thing? With the story? And Dom? OMG SO FUNNY!" and all the people around us backed up a step.
After the exhibition we bought icecream and then curry and went torosemending's to watch ROTK EE because beanzy was an EE virgin. We introduced her to the delights of Hans Jensen. ([Bad username or site: beanzy: never go to a movie with me. I'm the loud inappropriate laugher.) We mocked Orlando Bloom's acting skills (well I did while <lj user=rosemending @ livejournal.com] and greedy_dancer glared and tried not to laugh.) Admittedly he had one very good moment - when Aragorn's life was in danger, interestingly. We also made ridiculous numbers of slashy comments and greedy_dancer informed us that hot monkey sex was appropriate in the middle of a volcano (which is, apparantly, a Freudian ejaculation) but not while being circled by sharks. We also had coffee-flavoured alcohol with milk and it was all very elite.
Okay, so I completely love all the girls I met and I was laughing so hard it hurt all day, which is a definite good thing. I've cried before during RotK but usually not because I thought it was so damn funny. Thanks for the good time ladies!
Then I went to my cousins' place and we pretty much played video games late into the night and the following morning (this morning) when it was storming too much to want to go out. I came home on the bus and voila, I am here!
