X2 on Wednesday!!!!

Now I just have to figure out who's gonna go see it with me and Lea. Meanwhile, I just looked up the cast list for Troy. I nearly fell over laughing when I found out Brad Pitt's been cast as Achilles. Orli's playing Paris, and oddly enough they cast an unknown as Helen of Troy. I don't suppose anyone knows who Diane Kruger is? Two new LJ friends, [livejournal.com profile] ritergirl and [livejournal.com profile] musepile. The first one, I'm sorry but I haven't read any of your blog yet...I added you purely on the basis of your icon. Fuck. Forgot how hot JT is.
I had a pretty boring day again. My aunt and grandmother left, so I have my bed back again! Yay! Didn't do much except figure out that the Potential I couldn't remember who I thought was bigger was Chloe. I also remembered her coz the actress only goes by one name, Lalaine. I found out in a very roundabout way, going through Annie (the 2001 telemovie) on IMdB and finding out she was one of the kids in that, realising from the name that she's on Lizzie Maguire, which my little sister watches. I recognised her in tonight's Buffy, but barely. She looks very different. Moving on, I arranged to see X2 on Wednesday and Matrix Reloaded at midnight (the first screening.) I'm actually not *that* excited about Matrix, but we're gonna get dressed up :D I watched the usual shows, as well as Friends and Malcolm in the Middle. Friends is still pretty damn funny.

24
Spoilers--> Poor, poor George Mason *sniffles* especially since he'd *finally* started to grow on me and then he had to leave. But yay! for Almeida!! He's so cool, and a suprisingly good motivational speaker. If they make him a spy, I'll kill them. Speaking of, I have to send an angry letter to the Sydney Morning Herald about their *false* information in The Guide for this week. The DVD reviewer said Harry Potter CoS had elves and walking trees, and is therefore an inferior copy of Lord of the Rings. It has neither, and it's completely different. Back to 24. I wish Spawn would hurry up and get back into the main plotline, this is driving me crazy. I don't *care*!!! Regained respect for Marie Warner. She was a bitch, but a bitch to the end, and stood by her evilness proudly. They had her crying and looking like a little girl to make us feel sorry for her and fool us. I like that. I also still like Kate, who is proving surprisingly useful. Don't like the new chick at CTU, and still don't like Sheri, haven't decided whether or not she's evil. I guess they have it pretty well established that Quentin Travers is evil, but then he always is. As if Jack's going to die. That would completely kill the show. I MISS REZA!!!No more spoilers.

Queer as Folk
Episode 2 tonight. I liked Emmett singing, Emmett being a "real man", Father Goodfuck, the introduction of Debbie and her Sunshine, Justin's family, mopey Brian, heterophobic Brian (coz it's such an inversion), all the Patrick Swayze references, and the scene with Debbie and Vic at the house, which was very cute.

Buffy
Ah, now we're getting somewhere. TOnight's ep was Showtime. Reading it, it wasn't terribly interesting, but when I saw the episode I *loved* it. Andrew's excellent comic relief. Okay, so two of the girls had terrible accents, but I've already picked which girls I like (Chloe, Kennedy) and which ones I don't (Kennedy, Rona!!!). I *love* how grown-up and leaderlike Xander's being in this series! He kicked some serious ass when they left the house. I love the collaboration between Xander, Willow and Buffy too, and that mindreading scene was just fantastic. The slaying of the ubervamp was also great. I was getting a bit sick of Spike at the Hellmouth, I'm glad that's over, but the "She will come for me" was cool... or funny, if you read into it the wrong way. *bemoans loss of clean mind* Moving on, Willow's reference to the coven and "facing my fear" bits were cool, as was evil tasing "a little chalky." She looks kinda washed out with her hair this long though. Oh my God, I *have* been reading the Fashion Police reviews too much! Buffy's speeches are gonna start grating on me soon. Good to see Giles and Anya working together. The Eye thing looked fake, but still creepy. No Wood in tonight's episode, sadly enough. I missed him.

You're Doomed to be Frodo!

The film you has become severely more cuddly then the book you and
we've become concerned about your unnatural lack of interest in food.
You've traded in some lovable Hobbit traits for that Hollywood cutie
pie face. And if that isn't bad enough that @#$%&! Arwen stole your
scene at the Ford of Bruinen.

Which
member of the Fellowship are you doomed to be?

Midnight
Midnight - You are a deep thinker, always searching
for answers and never quite at home. You are
very contemplative, and enjoy being alone with
your thoughts.

When are you?

Okay, link of the day is Engrish TTT Captions. It's a bunch of Engrish captions for The Two Towers, and they're absolutely *hilarious.* Check out Gimli's line just before Aragorn goes over the cliff and Merry's "Fire advise goggle", and "No I have to do Sam".

Pics of the day are a cute animated Lij/Dom playing tag gif, a very hot Mikey/Brian pic, the Red Dwarf USA pic, and a couple HP pics from that DVD launch party--one that I find amusing of the trio in a very battered version of the car, one of *everybody*, and one of just the trio in which Emma's wearing shoes you couldn't *pay* me to wear, *especially* at her age.

Dude, the Cat's a chick!!! So very, very wrong.

And remember, always wear sunscreen!
Green Queen

PS. just read Sal's "The Wedding." I've noticed lately that almost all LotRiPS fics are really mean to Sean Astin. Why is that? Poor guy hasn't done anything to deserve it. He's so gorgeous. *sniffles*
*goes to bed sad*
