Meanwhile, I just found my old Jake & Maggie Gyllenhaal folder - inside my Prisoner of Azkaban folder. I don't know.

SEVERUS SNAPE

The funny thing is I'm not sure when Snape became my favourite character, I only know I didn't have one before him. I slowly became more and more fascinated by him until I actually read books 1-4 again just to see what he did. He's a bad good guy, an unsung hero in many respects, but such an utter bastard about it that you almost don't want to give him credit just because he's a git. And I'm sorry to all those people out there who think Snape's just misunderstood, he really *is* a git. But he's a fascinating, complex git, who is intelligent and yet cannot connect with other people, who does the right thing even if it makes him miserable. He is a good Occlumens and can control his emotions, and yet Sirius and Harry make him incredibly angry. Still, he's proof that not all Slytherins are actually evil. I can't wait to find out more about him.

I've finally bought myself a Photobucket account (just 3 months - I'm insane but I'm not rich), so I am going to do all teh picspams you guys picked and they are going to be very, very big.

Mmm Snape. He is a git. A really big git! He's an intriguing character because as you said, he does the right thing even though it makes him miserable. I think he has a larger role to play yet and I'll be fascinated to see what happens. Dumbledore obviously understands a lot more about Snape than most, given his staunch defence of him at every turn.

Plus, he is teh sexy! :-D

Thankyou! The man is an ass. Doesn't make him any less interesting or less of a good guy just because I say that. Snape supporters seem to hate me for saying that most of the time *sigh*
