Today was an interesting day.
I started it with chocolate toast, French class and a blackout. Kelly is in my French class. She is an extraordinarily friendly girl and I fear she may be trying to steal my liver. Then I had 2 hours in which I did nothing. Then I bumped into Nutty, called Justin who didn't give me much useful info on what to buy Lea, saw Nutty again, called Tom and Nina and they were standing right in front of me. Watched as treasures and terrors were lain out in the annual scavenger hunt. Too many pictures of nudity in public places for my liking, but I was mostly shocked by how completely un-shocked I was by the entire thing. While walking back through the uni, bumped into Joel and met Chris, and that's where my day really got interesting.
He had cask wine (he called it a goon and I kept giggling "Goonies!"), which he kindly shared with me. Then we bought beer. I skipped a lecture and a tutorial, saw Peter and Nutty again, played frisbee with a Toohey's New sign, wandered around, somehow got myself upstairs in Burgmann, and finally ended up lost and dazed and very, very cold. I got home at about 9:15. Sigh. Now I'm slightly sick and my hands are still to warm up.
So I now know what it's like to get drunk in the middle of the day for no other reason than because you're a uni student and you can. I'm over it.
