Meanwhile, I just had the best day. Work was good, fan stuff was amazing (Lost finale and new shoebox_project!!!), the movie was good, I got to see my friends. Just awesome.

No song again. Tired. Tomorrow. No, really.

Film Geek Moment #2010:

While watching Kinsey, I realised that one of the scenes is shot on a Prisoner of Azkaban shooting location. Specifically, when Remus and Harry are talking about Dementors and why they affect Harry more than others, and how it's 'nothing to be ashamed of.' They're walking through the trees, come to the side of the lake and look across to an island...thing.

In Kinsey, young Kinsey is being hit on by another guy in his Boy Scouts troop and they're talking about emissions and how 'one cubic centimetre of seminal fluid is equal to ten cubic centimetres of blood' or some such thing.

I kept replacing their dialogue with PoA in my head. It even ended with a similar shot. Made for a VERY WEIRD SCENE.

Music is cool.

I know, it's such a deep and poignant observation. But I've been downloading a lot lately and hey, I like it. Especially recent posts on frozenwithin and _jamjar's journals (Elvis and Stone Roses, respectively.)

Today was fine - first Saturday in a LONG time neither working nor sick in the morning. Swapped for Monday afternoon, which is really quite nice. I mostly just hung out, went for a walk. Nothing exciting happened.

Link of the Day: I suppose I'm just going to give up and admit my hopeless addiction to peter_and_fran, which, after shoebox_project, is my favourite ongoing fic saga. Probably because I only follow those two, as any other WIPs I've started lost me almost immediately. peter_and_fran is like...what canon would be, if they were a band.

Pics of the Day: You remember how I told you that those hires pics of Dom in the sex jacket on Leno would eventually find their way into my journal? Well, here they are. Along with one from the Golden Globes that I just found floating around in my folders and fell in love with and had to post. Obviously I got it in a spam from tinalikesstuff at some point. I love his shiny blue suit.
