Dude, Blade Runner kinda completely and utterly *sucks*.

David and Margaret gave Serenity 3 1/2 stars out of 5, which I was very happy with. I think it's proven a theory I've been pondering about the movie. Generally Margaret represents the intelligent but regular audience and David the bitchy film critics. Their reviews led me to believe that Serenity is the kind of movie that's got just enough of everything to please everyone - it's got loads of action and funny lines but it's also got that lovely edge to it that makes it a critical success as well. At least, in my opinion. To be honest, Margaret Pomeranz is about the only film critic I pay much attention to.
Meanwhile, it's pouring down rain, and my morning at work was *exhausting.* There were farm animals.

Firstly, EVERYONE's favourite quote:
Stegosaurus: Yes this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... This Land.
T-Rex: I think we should call it your grave.
Stegosaurus: Aah! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.
T-Rex: Hahaha. Mine is an evil laugh! Now DIE.
Stegosaurus: Oh no, god! Oh dear god in heaven!
Secondly, a personal favourite quote:
Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What d'you suppose that makes us?
Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.
Mal: Ain't we just.
Oh, and proof Simon can be funny:
Book: I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned?
Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.
(I love everything Zoe says, because she's so crazy deadpan. It always, always works.)

GRAMMAR TIP OF THE DAY:
Who's - who is.
Whose - possessive.
Because if I read one more fic containing this mistake I'll put my chair through my monitor.
You've already had a song and some links, so here's pics of the day: Elijah Wood and sunflowers.
