I am truly, madly, deeply in love with Naveen Andrews.

I saw Bride and Prejudice tonight and my only complaint is that there was nowhere near enough of him in it - he sings, he dances, he romances, and he looks GODDAMN HOT. Seriously. I loved the movie - it was so happy and I LOVE musicals anyway, so it was lots of fun. Good stuff. Did I mention how hot Naveen is in it?

Okay, my thoughts on the Oscars: I'm glad Cate won and all but I'm so pissed off about Australia's obsession with "our lot" doing well in Hollywood, because it spoiled the surprise for me and it's just painful to see our idiot reporters asking Leonardo DiCaprio what it was like working with Cate in their only interview with him. I don't like the guy, but we need to get over ourselves, seriously. Glad for Jamie Foxx (his daughter was adorable) and I always have liked Hilary Swank (not so much the dress), and Morgan Freeman is a legend. Glad Eternal Sunshine won for screenplay but it should have been nominated for a hell of a lot more - far superior and more interesting than anything else nominated. The ceremony was the worst I've seen in years and most everybody was dressed boring, with a few exceptions. All the men had weird little bowtie things, did you notice? Orlando Bloom - not only can our lovely boy not act but he can't even read the teleprompter. JAKE AND MAGGIE!!!! I don't care if he is bald and mispronounces "Azkaban", I still think he's hot, and Maggie looked so cool.
The best part of the night for me was actually in the pre-show "red carpet special" which here was a load of bollocks: they actually had a shot of Dom and Elijah at that banquet thingy they have after (governer's ball or something?) toasting the camera and looking totally debonair.

Orlando Bloom - not only can our lovely boy not act but he can't even read the teleprompter.

And the guy who interviewed him in the preshow didn“t like him *rofl* He edged him out after a few seconds *lol* He was just finished talking O.o Poor Orli.

ahh and his entrance (is that the right word? O.o) was the best (at least I had something to laugh), besides Sean Penns *lol* The whole Oscar thing was broing.

I think Orlando is still getting used to the grace that is needed for things like impromptu interviews and giving out awards. I love him, but he definitely needs some coaching. I wonder often what his publicist does for him. At least he's dressing a little better. No more crazy shirts at premiers and award shows. Leave that to Robin Williams, thank you.

I didn't notice that Jake mispronounced "Azkaban". I was too busy with my excamations alternating between "Jake!" and "Harry Potter Harry Potter Harry Potter!" (I really wanted it to win best score).

That picture of Jake and Maggie is so cute. He has the best smile.

Well, considering his lack of acting ability in movies it's not surprising he has trouble with interviews. Is it just me or has he only ever been comfortable with LotR interviews?

He said it "Azkaba~n", with a long a at the end. It was amusing.

I know! The very best smile ever, except Dom's.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! ORLI is STILL teh hotness!

Although I worship Orli, I can admit that his acting in Troy was terrible...and, so he flubbed a line at an awards show? so? lol - he was still hot! lol...and, if he needs a good coach, I have been know to inspire....tee hee!

GQ - I can't wait to see Bride & Prejudice....Naveen is another HOTTIE! wOOt!

Re: OMG!!!!!!!!!! ORLI is STILL teh hotness!

He didn't flub a line, he just had no intonation, just read the line off with no expression.

Bride and Prejudice is so much fun!

I really liked Bride and Prejudice as well. So many hilarious moments esp. with the cousin. And rowr on Naveen!

As pretty as he was, I was disappointed with Martin though.

My favorite dance/song number was the four girls at night singing the song about the cousin - No Life without wife indeed! And I want to go to that hotel at the beach in India. That looks fabulous.

PS - love all your picspams so a late thanks for those.

It was just such a fun movie though. I loved the beach they walked along at the end with the random gospel singers!!! Cracked me up.

No worries, glad you liked them.

Poor Orlando. All I can say is that he's still prettier than me and still has more money.

I love Jake. My best friend and I mourned the lose of his lovely hair, but he's still such a doll.

Orlando's prettier than most of the human population. Doesn't mean he can act :D

Ah, his hair will grow back eventually. I think he shaved his head for a role. He's gorgeous :D
