I love looking at people's icons, but I don't always *get* them - I often wonder stuff like, "Who's that guy?" or "Where's that quote from?" but I tend not to ask, for various reasons. Pick one (or more!) of my icons you're curious about, and I'll try to explain it. Or at least explain what I like about it.

This guy? This is Guy. More accurately, Guy Sebastian, winner of the first Australian Idol and totally my muse. He has a lovely voice.

That's Lucas from Empire Records. It's a quote from the movie as well. Lucas is terribly zen.

where did the green crown come from and is there a story behind the singing in the rain icon?

1. I won the green crown at a darts-throwing stall at a festival in Tokyo while I was living there.

Erm. Not sure what you'd like to know, so...
1) That's Jonathan Ke Quan (or Ke Huy Quan) playing Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He was also in The Goonies. I just think he's making the best face in that picture.
2) Gael Garcia Bernal, one of Mexico's finest young actors and one of the stars ot Y Tu Mama Tambien. It's my "I want the world to go away" icon.
3. That's David "Daisy" Wenham, and I like it because he's Australian and so am I.

This icon is of Dawn and Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. To be honest I don't even know why I like it so much. I guess it just appeals to my very odd sense of humour. I think it's sweet, and I love Tara anyway. :)
