Really though, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go is one of my all-time favourite songs.
I know this makes me strange and pathetic but I don't care. It always makes me wanna get up and dance around in bad 80's fashion.
I also like Al Otro Lado del Rio, the Best Song Oscar winner, it's lovely. Even when it's not sung by Antonio Banderas. And I have uploaded a clip of Naveen singing on my Media page at Naveen-Andrews.net that is worth a listen. He's good.
Today was okay, I was quite hyperactive for most of it but I have a cold and apparently a fever, which meant that I was contagious and couldn't go to work :( I did go to uni this morning and hung out with Claire, a girl from my film class who's awesome. I spent a lot of the day bouncing around and buying Easter Eggs.
Wednesday nights on ABC make for excellent television viewing, particularly Spicks & Specks (ugly set but funny as all hell when you've got Murray the Red Wiggle singing the words of "Studies of Gaseous Emmissions" to the tune of "Enter the Sandman" by Metallica), The Glass House (Rhys Muldoon threw a chair then couldn't stop himself cracking up) and Margaret and David (I can't remember the name of their new show.)
David is presenting PJ on Saturday. I can't believe I'm seeing PJ on Saturday. Or that my father's gone away for 8 months.

THOMAS ROBINS
Thomas Robins played Deagol in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and he's also a perfectly accomplished writer/director. He gave probably the most useful and practical workshop on working in the industry that I've ever been to. He's funny, respects others' ideas and is a real gentleman, and he's cute too. So, Yay Thomas Robins!!

Since it's International Women's Day I'm feeling all...gender patirotic, so I decided to bravely go forth and post picture of hot chicks. In the interest of equality of shagability and/or respect on my journal. SO a bunch of women I think are either shagable or fantastic or both.
Amber Benson, who makes her own brilliant films.
Cate Blanchett, who is always elegant and real.
Courtney Act, who proved Australia will embrace anyone with enough balls, if you'll pardon the terrible pun.
Cyndi Lauper, who sang about personal freedom and wore whatever the fuck she want and carved a pop music career for herself at the age of 30, and who never took any shit from anybody.
Eliza Dushku, beautiful and tough.
Evey, who is hot, funny and down-to-earth. And hot.
Fran Walsh, who is a genius in her own right.
Jayne Mansfield, who was far smarter than most people knew.
Jean Seberg, who was brave and unconventional.
