The time just went from 2:59 to 2:00 am. Is it daylight savings, then?

Nobody tells me anything.

ETA: from [livejournal.com profile] acroamatica:

Put your playlist on shuffle, list the first 25 songs that come up, and add "in my pants" to the end of each title.

More ETA, for [livejournal.com profile] greedy_dancer amd [livejournal.com profile] rosemending:I saw an ad on TV for the next episode of NCIS. And there was a guy with his legs chopped off, and the ad voiceover guy said "the case has the team stumped."

I immediately thought of [livejournal.com profile] rosemending.

Yep. Daylight savings. Which I guess happens for me tonight. I thought it was supposed to go ahead an hour...Spring forward, Fall back? Now I'm confused. I lived in Arizona for 12 years and they don't observe DST there, so I'm still trying to get used to changing all the clocks twice a year.

From: [identity profile] truffle-shuffle.livejournal.com

I know. Is the DST change opposite there? I just figured it was universal. Spring Forward, Fall Back.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Yes, that's right. Spring forward, fall back.

But remember, the seasons are the other way around...

From: [identity profile] truffle-shuffle.livejournal.com

Gotcha. I'm all enducated now. I really had no idea that the clock changes were opposite there (though, if I'd ever really thought about it, I probably would have come to that conclusion knowing the seasons were opposite).

Yeah, I only figured it out Midnighting at the Bronze. They have post times, and we try to post at midnight US mountain time (or some such thing.) Anyway, I discovered that posting after daylight savings changed the time by two hours instead of one.

Otherwise I probably never would've figured it out. I suck at that sort of thing!

Well, if it's any consolation for you, I do, too! DST begins (or is that ends? *is totally confused*) in 6,5 hours here and until about four hours ago, I had NO idea! I'm mean, yes, technically I knew it was coming up, but it never even occurred to me that it could be this weekend!

LMAO See hwat happens when you have friend from the other side of the world?? You get to start discussions about whether your DST is out of whack!

From: [identity profile] sweetcheri.livejournal.com

LOL I have no idea! I am not sure when it changes here in the US. I always just depend on my parents to let me know when to change the clocks! :)

From: [identity profile] starrox2.livejournal.com

You know what I just realised? With DST beginning a week earlier in the EU than in the US/not even existing in some places, I don't even know the time differences anymore! Just when I thought I finally had them figured out... *sighs*

Hey, just letting you know that you need to vote @ [livejournal.com profile] lostawards or you will be disqaulified. Your icons are beautiful and I would hate to see that happen. You have until midnight tonight. Thanks!

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Ack! Sorry. How long do we usually have to vote? Because of the time differences (ironic thread to discuss this in, hmm?) I often miss important posts until it's too late.
