Naveen-Andrews.net is having some problems.

My host won't accept my mother's credit card for one payment of 60 cents. Yes, I'm deadly serious. 60 bloody cents. Makes absolutely no sense.

I've had the most raging headache all day, but otherwise it was a good day. I went to uni for my last (!) tutorial and then spent about 2 1/2 hours looking for a present for Nina and failing miserably. I have absolutely no idea what to get her for her birthday.

After that I came home and I've just been hanging out online and catching up on some other stuff for the rest of the day. Please, contain your excitement.

Oh yeah, didn't update last night did I? Was watching Rove (the Vincent D'Onofrio interview was HILARIOUS) and then forgot the time and I had to sleep in order to get up for class.
Does anyone have the song Hanson sang on the show? I kinda liked it. Dammit, I remember when I genuinely thought they were girls, the first time I saw "Mmm Bop" on TV. I hated them in the first wave. I did!

Bloody hell, that show's hard to watch now. There isn't enough focus on Seth and Ryan. Not like slashy focus but just at all, in general. There's so much potential now with the whole Trey and Seth and which is the real brother storyline, but it's being completely wasted.

It always amazed me how Seth and Ryan just fell into step with each other the very first time they met. The actors radiated a comfort level that was off the charts - Seth was the only person Ryan was at all comfortable with for a long time in that house. They just clicked, instantly, with Ryan playing Playstation with the orgasm spoon hanging out of his mouth. But lately it's like they don't even live in the same goddamn house anymore. Granted, last night's episode was better at addressing that than usual and had a few scenes of them together, but I just feel like they should be the focus of a storyline or something. And not Marissa. Gods, she has to be the worst character *ever* created. WORSE THAN LANA LANG. Argh.

I also had my car refuse to start at Luke's school yesterday. Work was SUCH a headache (one of the girls in his class was acting up, and acting up at a special school isn't like acting up at any other school) and I just had the biggest headache, and then I got to my car to discover that it had NO PETROL. When there was plenty when I had arrived at the school 3 hours earlier. So I had to walk to the petrol station and buy a can of gas and have the mechanic drive me back to the school and help me out. THen I met NUtty for coffee and he kindly informed me that I don't use visual metaphors in speech and that I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body.

Song of the Day: Rebel Prince and Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk by Rufus Wainwright

I suppose it was only a matter of time before I recced Rufus again, and goddamn I love these songs right now. I sang Rebel Prince all through my tutorial this morning, and Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk just popped into my head halfway through the day and I couldn't get rid of it. Rufus is really bordering on pretentious but his music is so gorgeous that I can't help but forgive him all his sins.

Link of the Day: Naveen in The Chippendale Murder. SO DAMN FUNNY. Those are some sexy glasses. Rawr. *snicker*
I haven't figured out how to rip the videos yet but once I do they'll be up on my site.

Pics of the Day: Dom and Billy in the same shirt (not at all an excuse to post sexy pics of them, nope) and a new Maggie Grace photoshoot that's hot hot hot.

Billy at Sundance

Dom on Kimmel.

Yeah, that'll just never stop being funny.

See? Same shirt.

I love Billy. I love all the hobbits. Always will.

Luke is a 5-year-old Autistic boy. I work as his therapist.
If I had a boyfriend I doubt he'd be in school, since I'm 21.

It won't accept the card! It accepted it for other charges, but not that one. Argh.

new Rufus! *downloads*
Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk is one of my favourite Rufus song, the other being Complainte De La Butte.

dont they love wearing the same clothes. dom's pose in the first pic is totally hot.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I love Complainte de la Butte as well. But I love Gay Messiah, One Man Guy, the two I posted tonight and all his covers more. Gods, I love his covers. They're always so good.

I love his t-shirt showing pose. Only thing that could make it better would be his Rock God face. I love that face.

umm..looks like the Billy has been workin out.. heheh.. YAY..love the Billy.. and they must share EVERYTHING..lol..(tries to get the images out of my head)

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Those pics were...late last year, I think. Sundance, anyway. The most recent appearance I can remember of Billy's is at Kingdom of Heaven, with Orlando. He looked older.

Wow so Maggie almost made me go gay there for a second.

But then I scrolled up again.

Dom and Billy are so cute. Haven't the shared other clothing? Like hats and other shirts and things? AHHH I LOVE THEM *dies*

That sucks about your car! I'm sorry!

"Luke is a 5-year-old Autistic boy. I work as his therapist."
That is amazing. My friend's cousin is Autistic, and from a tiny bit of experience, I know what a worthwile job that must be to help someone like that. That really is unbelievable. You are such a kind and giving person! I'm sure your work is really appreciated!

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

LMAO I love that.

Yeah, there's the grey beanie. I notice Dom never wore Billy's Ugly Shirt, lol. They don't exactly have a lot of the same tastes in clothes.

Eh, filled the car up with petrol and everything was fine again :)

Dude, everybody says that, but....I get paid. It's really a job, not out of charity or anything. And it can be REALLY frustrating.

From: [identity profile] flamingo-killer.livejournal.com

I know it's a job, but you could have picked another job. The face that you stay with it through frustration shows dedication =)

I volunteer at a local preschool for under privileged children, and it is the most rewarding thing...ever. Even if it can get really hectic, difficult, and frustrating. I dunno, the struggle makes it seem more worthwhile.

Well, didn't Dom say that Billy was backstage that night? I guess he borrowed it cuz ya know...he worships The Beatles. I think it's so cute that they share clothes. It's nice when you have friends to do that with.

Besides seeing Dom and Billy share clothes and seeing Dom wear the same shirt more than once in pics...it makes me realize that they are indeed just like everyone else and they don't go buy a new wardrobe every week to be "in" with the latest fashion.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Yeah, he did. I wonder whether he was wearing it one the way over...

Yeah, I love that I actually know the clothes that all the boys wear in different pics - Dom wearing his white shirt in LA in 2003 and then just recently at the Up-Front, his blue shiny suit to NY TTT prem and then to the Golden Globes a while back. Elijah's One Jacket, Billy's Ugly Shirt. It's nice. Creepy, but nice XD

Gay is the new black .... heard that somewhere in the last few days ... wasn't the OC though! Scrubs?

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Rove Live. Vincent D'Onofrio said it to Rove, I don't think he knew that Rove is married XD

From: [identity profile] bitter-moss.livejournal.com

lol it was a good rove...and I'm the new black! =D
And u wanna know something funny? Back in the day i was OBSESSED with Hanson. Yes, back before I discovered rock'n'roll( and both kinds of black!?:P) I was just one of their screaming fans...

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I reckon it was one of the best Rove episodes I've seen. Vincent D'Onofrio should've just done the whole show, he was hilarious.

LOL really? I hated them back in the day and now I'm all "They're so sweet! And I like that song!" Grah.

From: [identity profile] magikalcrab.livejournal.com

OMG Maggie!!

Dom and Billy are so sharing clothes. SO CUTE. SUCH a couple.

And I totally agree with the O.C thing. I LOVED the first season, but it's just kinda sucky now. Woe.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

They're the cutest couple ever. And yeah, it's just hard to watch The OC now. Makes me sad. I wish they'd make Seth loveable again.

Was the song Hanson was playing a fast song?? If it was, it's prolly "Lost Without Each Other". It's a Hanson fan favourite. ;o) I was actually at the concert when they filmed the video for it in Boston last July. Good times.

You should seriously check out their new CD Underneath. That song I mentioned is on there, and some other great stuff. (Or go to: http://www.hanson.net)

;o)

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

No...it went "maybe" a lot. Maybe, maybe maybe. And they played it acoustic.

Thanks!

From: [identity profile] mystic20.livejournal.com

A-ha... I think I know what song it was. 'Strong Enough To Break'. "Maybe... you can take a look at yourself lately.... Maybe..."

;o)

I can't figure out what to get Nina either. Any ideas? I'm going shopping at work on Saturday.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Tom said books. Or porn, or clothes, or any number of other things that don't really work for me. I need help!

I wonder if she needs a watch? Watches are good presents, right? *flails*

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Yeah, good point. I have a fair bit of money and I want to get her something nice. Best friend's 21st and all. I mean, I waited in line forever in Brisbane to get a comic signed for Tom's.
