I had to change a nappy at work today.
It was huge. HUGE. Augh. I am scarred for life.
Other than that, nothing happened. I watched Grey's Anatomy and 24 and I'm going to T&N's on Friday to watch Firefly, yaye!
You remember that idiosyncracy meme I did a while back? Here's another one: I'm never cold after seeing a movie. Even if I didn't like it. But that's only if it's at a cinema or something.
People just can't write Sawyer. I find it deeply irritating. They always write him as either really nasty and sarcastic or as a total softie who's only protecting himself by being snarky. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground there, and I think that's where the character in the show lies. He's irritable and hardened, but it's more out of bitterness than genuine hatred. He's pretty self-sacrificing when it comes down to it, but he's a realist instead of an idealist. Anyone following me? The only way Jack/Sawyer works is if it's written as a mix of the scene where Sawyer tells Jack about his father and when Jack tests Sawyer for glasses. Plenty of banter, but with that whole tense testosterone-filled respect thing.
