I wish I would stop downloading video files and then losing them. I'm sure I must download about 5 videos a day but I haven't watched half of them and I don't know where I've put them.

Also, apparently Naveen was on something called Tavis Smiley at some point. Anyone know where I can find a video for the site?

this is Seren_Mahtori. I know this would be considered spam, but I wanted you to know that I am alive. I'm in Dallas, Texas. My family has lost everything in the hurricane. We can't get back to New Orleans for atleast a month or more and then we will be out of electricity for another month or two.

Things are just in a state of Hell. My best friend's dad stayed behind and the last call they got from him, he said that the water was coming up and he had to go into the attic and then the phone died. They have no idea if he's alive or dead. Everyone that I've talked to that's evacuated has lost everything. Some of our town near the mouth of the Mississippi River are totally gone...underwater. They're part of the ocean now. Hundreds if not thousands of people are missing and believed to be dead.

Rescue workers are pushing aside dead bodies in the water in order to save the living. Everything is just gone. No one knows what to do know. How do you just start over when you have nothing? We don't have the money to stay in a hotel for a month or more. We're going to start looking for jobs and get an apartment, but we may have to live out of our cars for a little while.

This is all just devestating. If you've seen War of the Worlds...you have an idea of what we're all going through. Only instead of Aliens, we are being irraticated by flood waters. We're 20 feet below sea level and the water is rising more every day. This is just so hard to face...

I'll be back online as soon as I can be. I just wanted to let you know I'd be gone for quite some time due to this whole situation. And God bless the public library...or I'd never get in touch with anyone.
