When are the Emmys?
No update last night because I went to the post-show party after the play T&N and I went to. Loads of people I know were involved, so we went afterwards and had SO MUCH FUN. I want to move to Fenner Hall. Also, I want the hot bondage boy from the play for my birthday. Really, really hot, with eyeliner and black lipstick and spiky black hair and one of those spiky collars. *paws* Will show pictures when I get 'em.
Spent all of today half-dead in spite of sleeping about 10 hours, but it was sooo worth it.
Have completely changed my mind about James and now adore him and hope he gets through, mostly for the stroking of the other James. LOVE. And as much as I hate Lindsay (ie. a lot) I loved when he said "Embrace me!" and James leapt on him. SO CUTE. Damn, I love James Matheson. I also loved Andrew G's "You're weird" after the Jameses flirted XD Jim was doing a lot of cracking up of the G tonight. Looks like the hosts are back in their stride.
If Roxane doesn't get through it'll be a bloody travesty, she's incredible. I like Irene but hated her song. I like Dan quite a lot. Michael is just weird, Lindsay awful, Lauren was better tonight (and I love me some Ella Fitzgerald) but I still don't care for her much, Chloe and Josh were both meh, Emily was okay but I'm not really feeling her.
Summary: I want Roxane through because she's AMAZING, Dan through because he sparkles, and James through because of the boytouching goodness.
Link of the Day: Cowboys In Love...With Each Other. Yes, another Brokeback Mountain article. Don't act all surprised, you knew it was coming. Especially with a line like this:
Some straight people, even those who may favor gay marriage, or at least civil unions, will stay away from the movie because it's about the love affair of two men. Others will go just to see Mr. Ledger and Mr. Gyllenhaal make out. Judging by the amount of chatter on the Web, anticipation for the movie is high.
