I saw Sin City tonight with a bunch of people.

It was an awesome movie, really nicely shot. The girl who played Goldie was possibly the worst actress ever, Marv is awesome, and Elijah was supposed to be scary but it didn't work on me. I might make it my life's endeavour to talk like those two thugs with the big words. I love them.

Afterwards we all hung out and talked and it was the bestest thing ever. This morning I had work and Taine was sick which was yuck, and now I am dead tired.

Tomorrow, ohnoyoudidnt's 99 hottest men in spam form. And Firefly spam if you're lucky.

I can only express puzzlement bordering on alarm

Damnet, I haven't seen it yet. *blah* I'm waiting to see Benicio del Toro and Clive Owen in the scene which was directed by Quentin Teh Man. *whee*

It was a very amusing scene, that one. Very good.

Yeah, it was James King. She was shocking.

Well, no, it wasn't that it was Frodo. It was Elijah in a geek movie playing his dream character that threw me. Thing is, Elijah's actually an excellent actor, but EVERY TIME I see him in something I can't help thinking "Oh look, it's Elijah in Eternal Sunshine/Sin City/Hooligans." Maybe because I saw him give interviews about how excited he was to play the part or something.

Kevin is NOT Frodo....I think some of you are confussed...Afraid? Of course!!!, but not like a "Alien" or "Carrie"...is more dark...more psychological fear...

Nah, I wasn't confused. I didn't watch Kevin and see Frodo, I watched Kevin and saw Elijah getting to play a part in sort of his ultimate geek movie. I didn't watch Kevin and see a scary, cannablistic serial killer, I watched Kevin and saw Elijah in Sin City. You understand?

I thought his boss was scarier.

It was soo good! Elijah was a bit freaky, mainly cos he ate people.

Yeah, the character was very scary...but I watched it and saw Elijah in Sin City, not Kevin the character. I saw Elijah getting to play his big geeky role and getting all into it, rather than, you know, the role. I dunno. It's hard to explain.

Yeah, exactly. And it's not that he's a bad actor or anything, I think he's a very talented actor...but I always see Elijah.

It's the same with Billy. Not with Dom, though, for some reason. Maybe because I see him as Charlie every week, so I'm used to the idea.
