Hmm let's see if I can do this right.... If not, I'm sure someone will correct me... LOL
Anyway, first you have to download a bittorrent program. I use ABC, but there are a few out there that are quite good. If you want to get ABC, it's a free download, just google it. =D
If you already have one of those, then you're set.
Then go to a torrent site. Right now I'm using tvtorrents.com You have to sign up for an account, but it's free. Mininova.org seems alright as does torrentspy.com for newer stuff as well.
Once you're signed in, you can search for any show you want. When you find the episode you want, click on it, and then download the torrent file. (Most full shows are around 350MB or so, so make sure the file is somewhere around that size) Save the torrent file, and then open your bittorrent program and open the torrent file.
For example, in ABC you would go File, add torrent, from file, then select the torrent and it should start up for you.
Hope that helps, I'm not an expert by any means, I just know what works for me, and then I stick with that... LOL
Do you have a torrent program installed? If not, there are a lot out there. This is a basic one: http://www.bittorrent.com/ Or Google bit torrent client.
You need to find it on a torrent site. Lost is popular -- whoa, is it -- so it will be up all over the place. But if you don't have on, look on http://www.torrentspy.com/ I'm sure you know to search for Lost. Right? You'll find S02E01 up in a few hours after broadcast.
Download the little .torrent file. Open it up in your torrent program.
Looks like others have given you the basics, but I'd like to recommend the Azureus BitTorrent client (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/). It's really easy to use, and it lets you keep much better track of the status of your downloads. I've been using it for a while, and I love it. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
Also, I've had good luck with finding stuff at TorrentSpy.com, but I'm always on the lookout for more good BT sites.
Also, also? BitTorrent for Dummies (http://www.echelonlabs.com/bittorrent/) is pretty good at explaining how it all works.
personally I use Shareza. Just google it...it's very easy to use. I mean, if I can do it...
I mostly download my torrents from torrentspy.com, though I don't save them...I just open them and they auto load into Shareza. Even if you close the program, as long as you're connected, it'll download.
What they all said. Adam taught me. If you still can't work them out I'm sure we can work something out between us to get you them. With me being the Torrent Queen now and all.

I can walk you through it. If you choose this route, let me know what your IM name is and which service because I can't see you until I add you :)

this place always had the episodes up the next day, sometimes faster than Tina.
