Too buggered from cold and work for proper update tonight, not that anyone cares. Procrasturbation all the way!

ETA: I find [livejournal.com profile] ohnotheydidnt amusing and disturbing all at the same time. They seem to think all celebrities are their property. Some of the stuff is interesting, and yet they get all up in arms because Drew Barrymore has slight armpit hair. WTFgetalife.

ETA2: Which reminds me. Channel 7 'news', while reporting on higher incidents of anorexia in older women and people saying anorexia is a 'lifestyle not a disease', flashed an image of OUR GORGEOUS EVEY at the Golden Globes. I threw my cushion at the television. She's skinny=anorexia? WTF. The woman has muscles up the wazoo. They think her image is public property so they can use it to support any argument they're making? Grr.

ETA3: What is "House"?

ETA4: WWGQD?

Tomorrow morning I'll wake up and someone will have written Harry/Golden Egg - 148 days

i assume you're talking about the tv show "house". i have never watched it, but from what i can tell it's a medical drama. :D comes on after american idol or i wouldn't know that much. :D

I guess I am. It's like the new black or something, everybody on LJ keeps talking about it. Only House seems to be a person or something.

i'm under impression that house is also the doctor's name, but i could be pulling that out of my ass...i don't watch it, only see the promos during american idol. :1

Yeah, I'm thinking it must be. Otherwise House/somebody slash? Just plain odd.

Thanks for that!

House is a new show on Fox about a doctor (Dr. House) and his team. It's not like ER; it's more of a private hospital, and he's this cranky doctor addicted to pain killers who's so brilliant that his superiors can't get rid of him. It's really well written, and well acted, with a gorgeous cast. Sadly, I never get to watch it, because it's on against Scrubs and I refuse to watch the second half without seeing the first.

I can't tell if little Dan is getting less cute all of a sudden, or if every picture of him that's been released for GOF has been bad. And I'm curious: why's the egg open and yet Harry is just so casually looking at it, rather than covering his ears in pain? Are they just going to leave out the fact that it screeches unless it's under water?

Thanks for the info, everybody seems to love the show. Wonder if we'll get it down under.

I dunno, I kind of like the older Dan. But I'm weird like that.
And maybe it's the initial shock before the pain? It's possible they're leaving that part out though, it's not *necessary* to the plot. Just cool :)

I just looked at the picture again, and I don't think he looks bad in that particular one, or the one where he's in the tent before the First Task. But the others that have been released...I don't know. I know he's going through puberty, and his face is changing. I'm sure he's just in an awkward phase, being 15 and all. I guess the screeching isn't necessary to the plot, but it'd be really funny to see it happen, you know? It's nothing that's going to get a complaint out of me for not being there, that's for sure. I actually am scared to know what's left out since I know a lot will be, despite knowing that the really important things will be there. Not that it matters, as long as Chris Columbus isn't directing it. It will be fine.

Oh, I know there's one that's just a horrible angle or something, it was like the very first one released and it was horrendous. The one with Ron in his dress robes is okay though.

Poor old Chris. He really, really loves the books and the stories, and he's done quite a good job as exec producer, to be fair. But such a heavyhanded director.
I'm worried about what they're cutting too but first impressions seem to be surprisingly good. It appears to be very big this time, very action-oriented, which I think suits the book - it's a very different style to PoA. I don't think it can match up to PoA though. I mean, it was *Alfonso Cuaron*. What can ever match that?
