Fuck, but I love Big Band music.

Seriously, it's probably my absolute favourite kind of music, and the Big Band show on Idol is my favourite pretty much every year. I wish they'd saved it until later in the year, but I'm glad Milly gets to sing it. And OMG James dancing with John Foreman made my *year*.

ETA: I have discovered that I have every song on my iTunes except the Harry Connick Jr. one. Two versions of some songs. I love big band night XD

Also, I don't give a flying rat's ass what anybody else says, I LOVE LEE. He stood up for himself, and James stood up for him, and he looks good in a suit. I love Dan more (his poor hair) but I like Lee and I'm tired of Lee-bashing. You know what else I'm tired of? People with "Blame Lee for World Poverty" icons saying "Yeah, I agree that Mark should've said things better." WTF?!

god, i look forward to big band night every season. :) looks like sunday will be really good too, so it'll be interesting to see how they go on the night. :)

god, im so sick of the lee bashing too. its never been like that in past seasons, i dont understand these people. i unfriended the community the other day, will probably only hang around there on sunday and mondays.

I'm tired of Lee-bashing too. Sure, he doesn't come across as the brightest crayon (save his hair), but, like Anthony last year, he's an entertainer who knows his place and does his job bloody well. So even though his style is not to my personal taste, I admire him and think he's perfect for this kind of competition.

Kate. I think Kate's awesome.

I disagree, I think Lee's pretty smart, but not in a political sense. I think he's smart in a business sense. He knows exactly what his image is and what he's good at, and he plays to his audience. Not only that, he continues to pick songs that his (younger) audience will know because they've recently been covered or released.
