So much love for Lost Boys (and Rebel, but this post is mostly Lost Boys). I'm going to try and start watching Halloween movies I think (I started with Rock Horror Picture Show which I hadn't seen in years). This is definitely on list of films to rewatch.

Can I just say how bizarre, and yet joy-inducing, it is for me to see someone so excited about The Lost Boys? I have like every word and every scene of this movie memorized. I used to watch it like two or three times a week. I always had a thing for the Non-Corey Feldman Frog Brother, actually. After my thing for Corey Haim. And back then I didn't notice how ENTIRELY GAY Sam is. lol

See I was supposed to see it once when I was about 12 but it fell through a couple of times and then everybody else had hyped it up so much that I was worried it wouldn't hold up (see Blade Runner.)

Jamison Newlander was the other Frog Brother. What? I've seen all the extras on the DVDs and everything XD there's a great little segment where they have each of the Frog Brothers and Sam doing commentary on the same scenes and you can flick between them.

Haha. The first time I saw it, I was 11, and my best friend's older brother rented it for us because our parents said we were too young to see it. We watched it one day after school when no one was around.

I have the special edition DVD. I bought it the day it came out. And I watched all the extra stuff immediately. I was so excited about it. Yesterday I couldn't remember what Jamison's character's name was - I could only remember that his name was Jamison in real life, because how cool is that name?! But now I remember. He was Allen. Feldman was Edgar. And Jamison? Still cute. Feldman, not so much. Though, he wasn't so much in the movie either. Corey stopped being cute after puberty really hit.

Yeha, I figured Allen too, but IMDb lists him as Alan, so that's what I used *shrugs*. I reckon Feldman's still hilarious. Corey Haim is now...pretty much just creepy.

I have watched this movie a million times, and I have never noticed Sam's "Born to Shop" shirt. Dear God, that is pretty much the funniest thing ever. All of your posts are making me want to go back and watch it again! I only have it on VHS, though, and my VCR isn't working right now. This would be a good excuse to finally buy it on DVD, though...!
