Figures...for some reason a lot of really good movies get cast aside for bigger budget films that completely suck ass. Such is the American Box Office...
I haven't seen it yet, but I want to. I loved the TV series.
That is effing depressing. When my friends and I went Friday night, the theater was packed. I don't get how it went from #2 to #9. There goes our chances for a sequel. Dammit.
Not going to get down in the mouth, yet. I went to www.rottentomatoes.com and checked out the box office. Four of the movies above Firefly were new. The old ones all dropped about the same as Serenity. In other words, Serenity did not worse than any of the other shows already out there.
