I'm all finished with uni, so I will return to my regular posting habits!

Though my brief not-really-hiatus has actually caused quite a drop-off in my 'friend of' list. But yeah, my break was boring as anything, lots of Trainspotting (the Scottish is slowly leaving my brain but I'm still calling babies 'bairns') and lots of Sims 2. I have great-grandchildren and I entered a cheat code ONCE and now nobody will stop having twins. It's insane.

Can I just say I love House? Wilson/House OTP. And I want to see Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr.! Kissing! I love Robert Downey Jr.!) and also Adam Hills and Wil Anderson shouldn't be allowed on TV on the same night. They're both hot and kinda similar and it's very confusing and they make my laugh until my jaw hurts.

Anne Rice's new novel makes Baby Jesus cry. Um, possibly literally. And you thought fanfic writers were on crack. See, I don't understand how Anne Rice can completely denounce fanfiction of her books AND THEN WRITE FANFIC OF THE BIBLE. I swear she used to be a good writer...

hackthis is fantastic (also on that page: Peter Sarsgaard, Jake & Maggie Gyllenhaal AND A PUPPY), and also write the best crackfic about George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal and gay landmarks: Prologue, Chapter 1, Chapter 2. She changed partway through because she discovered that Jared Leto is a jerk. The story has George, Brad, Jake, Maggie, Peter, Jared, even bloody Viggo, because she just likes writing him into things I think, but her Viggo's always the best.

Gah. She's one big disappointment. I think I stopped appreciating her after Queen of the Damned, and just read the other Chronicles because...well...I'd already started it anyway. Although, Blood Canticle seemed better than her later works of late.

That my Sims gave birth to themselves? Four. Plus two sets I made myself - one before the twin epidemic and another accidental set of non-identical twins. Basically I just made two teenaged kids, but of course once you move them in they start aging at the same rate.
